Hasabel had once been a student at Argus Awakener Academy. That place in her ancient memories had not been particularly pleasant. Its rules were harsh; to students, it was practically a prison. They had to earn enough credits to graduate, and anyone who failed to graduate from the Awakeners Academy would be mercilessly mocked.

Hasabel had never had that problem. Even as an Eredar, she had been a very solitary sort, but her grades were excellent. Good students generally had grander aspirations than failing students. That was called ambition. She had longed to become truly powerful, to leave her name in the history of Argus.

Ambition needed strength to support it. Hasabel understood that perfectly well. Unlike her classmates, however, this quiet girl rejected no power on account of its nature. As long as it could make her stronger, she welcomed it.

Good students also caught their teachers' attention faster. Kil'jaeden, the academy's headmaster at the time, soon discovered Hasabel's special talent and drew her into his faction. When the dark day came, Hasabel was among the first Eredar to accept Sargeras's power.

She received everything she had wanted, then began wielding her newfound power across world after world, tearing apart the bodies of the weak and tearing apart their worlds. Among the Eredar demon warriors, Hasabel was not the strongest, but she was certainly the most soldierlike.

Cold, precise, aware of what she should do, and capable of carrying out her superiors' orders to perfection. Thus, after thousands of years of campaigning, she became the defender and administrator of Mac'Aree's spatial transit zone. With all her ferocity, she earned herself the honor of guarding the gates to countless worlds for Kil'jaeden and Lord Sargeras.

It was the highest honor.
