As the great evacuation of Krokuun proceeded, Dick stood on the land of the Mac'Aree Ruins.

He sat cross-legged atop ground corroded beyond recognition by the winds of the Void, his eyes closed, seemingly resting as he waited for the hardest battle to come.

Taeshalach, shimmering with flames and silver light, lay across his legs, while the Aegis of Aggramar, restored to its brilliant appearance, rested beside his hand. His fingers tapped lightly on the sword's hilt and blade, while his will spread swiftly through the land of the entire shattered planet, through its sky, and through the Sea of Poisonous Mists that no one wished to approach.

With a stir of his mind, a vast whirlpool swiftly formed deep within the Sea of Poisonous Mists, obscured by dark green poisonous gas, in those dead waters where no life remained. Under Dick's sustained attention, the whirlpool grew ever larger, finally stirring rolling storms throughout the entire Sea of Poisonous Mists.

It was as though some savage ancient beast was about to leap from the whirlpool, but once Dick turned his attention away, it rapidly subsided, as though it had never appeared.

His attention shifted to the now-deserted Antorus and the Flames Mountains. With a gentle sweep of his will, the mountains began to shake soundlessly. Soon, a terrifying earthquake struck the already ravaged Antoran Wastes. Panicked demons scurried from their hiding places, only to be swallowed by fissures opening in the increasingly violent tremors.

His attention flew into the sky, leaving a ravaged land behind. As his will roamed the heavens, the curtain of Eternal Night opened, and the scorching light of a star shone upon this shattered planet for the first time. It was searing, and the demons in hiding even screamed when this unbearably hot radiance touched them.
