According to Colonel Kelman, an unusual great pyramid lay hidden within this dust storm. He had received that emblem only after touching the pyramid, so it was their destination as well.

And if the Steward really had ended up stranded on this world, that pyramid was also the most likely place to find him.

But aside from the one time Kelman had accidentally fallen into it, there had been no further information about this sandstorm that stretched from earth to sky or the great pyramid standing at its center. They did not know whether the structure stood in the center of the wind column, because no one had ever reached this place while conscious.

Huron hung the silver Pendant around his neck. Even clad in armor with a complete life-support system, he felt a trace of fatigue. How long had they been traveling?

Two hours? Or four?

The multicolored curtains of light around them could no longer stir anyone's curiosity. Even the most beautiful sights could no longer surprise them within this passage. For the Iron Soldiers, remaining fully armed and utterly focused was simple, but Kelman and Baslon were already finding it somewhat taxing to remain vigilant for so long.

This passage of light seemed to give them the feeling that it would never end. In his daze, Kelman even wondered how he had crossed this immense distance and entered the great pyramid last time.

"Get ready. We're almost there!"

The Wind Reaver's voice suddenly rang out in their minds. The news shook some of the fatigue from their expressions. Sure enough, after another five minutes of travel, a different halo appeared before them. It resembled a gateway of light, displaying a scene of life utterly unlike this world.

Green grass stretched unbroken, birds sang, and flowers bloomed fragrantly.
