• Ah Yin read Zhao Ling’s diary and decided to avoid Tang Hao, while Zhao Ling’s rewards strengthened him and he considered pursuing Ah Yin or meeting Bibi Dong.
• Ah Yin left her village with Zhao Ling after villagers tried to force her to marry Da Niu, and Zhao Ling sealed her Soul Power before they went to Suotuo City.

Zhao Ling left Suotuo City with Ah Yin and Bibi Dong, defeated Yu Xiaolong and Yu Xiaogang, and became engaged to Bibi Dong in Spirit City. After Qian Xunji sent him away to give Bibi Dong time to cultivate, Zhao Ling traveled toward Heaven Dou City with Ah Yin and Bo Saixi, while the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan continued to suffer the fallout from Yu Xiaogang’s actions.

• Yu Xiaolong and Yu Xiaogang confronted Zhao Ling in a night market, and Zhao Ling beat both of them unconscious after Yu Xiaolong demanded an apology.
• The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan elders blamed Yu Xiaogang for provoking Zhao Ling, imprisoned him, and sent three elders to Suotuo City, but Zhao Ling had already left with Ah Yin and Bibi Dong for Spirit City.
• Qian Xunji tested Zhao Ling, learned of his powerful martial soul and soul rings, and agreed to arrange his engagement to Bibi Dong, while Zhao Ling declined the offer to become the next pope.

Zhao Ling gained Heaven Dou Imperial Family patronage, deepened his relationships with Bo Saixi and Liu Erlong, and strengthened his companions with immortal herbs. After giving Bo Saixi the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, he accompanied her to Sea God Island, where Sea God decided she could inherit his godhood.

• Zhao Ling accepted Emperor Xue Ye’s residence, money, and Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud in exchange for protecting Xue Qinghe from danger three times.
• Zhao Ling gave Ah Yin two immortal herbs that raised her to rank fifty, revealed her Soul Beast identity to Bo Saixi, and became intimate with Bo Saixi and Liu Erlong.

The arc ended with future Xiao Wu joining the household and Tang Wutong learning of Tang San’s treatment of her, while Wang Qiu'er awakened as a human.

• The Sea God chose Bo Saixi as his successor, while Zhao Ling revealed his golden blood and the deities speculated about his ancestry.
• Zhao Ling left Sea God Island and brought Ah Rou and Xiao Wu from Star Dou Great Forest to Heaven Dou Imperial City, where they joined his household despite Xiao Wu’s doubts about his story.
• Zhao Ling rejected his imperial appointment after killing General Zhang, then welcomed Tang Wutong, a girl from the future, and helped Xiao Wu transform into a human.
