Chapter Summaries

Aizen ambushed Ichigo Kurosaki and took Sakura Matou and Illya hostage for Kirei Kotomine, who planned to sacrifice them to activate the Lesser Grail. Sakura had secretly avoided Aizen’s hypnosis, and the chapter ended as Yamamoto appeared beside her and unleashed his Bankai.

• Aizen kicked Ichigo Kurosaki into a tree, then took Sakura Matou and Illya hostage to stop Yamamoto from approaching.
• Kirei Kotomine arrived with Cú Chulainn and revealed his plan to use Sakura, who carried fragments of the Holy Grail, as a sacrifice.
