Tetsu no Sosuke reached out to check and found himself at a loss too.
Shinobu Kocho pursed her lips. "You don't have a solution either?"
Tetsu no Sosuke blinked. He knew they were talking about two entirely different problems.

He glanced at the Love Pillar. She looked rather forlorn. After a moment's thought, he said, "When you get down to it, you're the one with the upper hand now."
Realization dawned on the Love Pillar. "What do you mean?"
"You know exactly how the Serpent Pillar feels and what he's thinking. That means you're the one who gets to decide how to treat him," Shinobu Kocho explained. She deserved full marks for comprehension.
Realization dawned on the Love Pillar again. "And then?"
"Then see how he treats you," Tetsu no Sosuke said, rolling his eyes. "If you haven't paid attention to that before, start watching him. If he treats you well and you don't dislike him, you could give it a try... Honestly, time is the only true test of love. If someone keeps loving another person for a year, ten years, a hundred years, even several hundred years, then even if that person felt nothing at first, feelings would gradually grow. Unless they had some reason they couldn't be together. Maybe there's something they have to accomplish first... and until they do, they won't consider anything else."
The Love Pillar looked wistful. "Where would you find a love like that in real life?"
"It exists!"
Tetsu no Sosuke wiped the nervous sweat from his forehead. "How about I tell you a story?"
Shinobu Kocho gave him a suspicious look. She had a feeling he had some other motive behind all this.
