That would not change even if Tetsu no Sosuke stayed here.
By contrast, if they could get some information out of Upper Moon Six, they might still gain the initiative...
After writing down every situation he could think of and how to handle it, Tetsu no Sosuke put the pages in an envelope and went to rest.
The night passed uneventfully. Early the next morning, Tetsu no Sosuke called several Pillars into his tent for a brief meeting.
He explained that he was leaving to take care of some business, then handed the envelope to the Serpent Pillar. "For now, the Serpent Pillar will be in charge of everything here. I've written down several situations that might arise and how to handle them. When the time comes, please don't hesitate."
He looked around at everyone. "All right, if there are no objections..."
"I object!"
Shinobu Kocho raised her hand.
Tetsu no Sosuke paused. "Go ahead."
"I don't doubt that you've thought through everything here, and I'm not worried about the worst that might happen. But you've overlooked one thing..."
Shinobu Kocho was blunt, openly calling him out.
Tetsu no Sosuke rubbed his face. "What have I overlooked?"
"Your own safety." Shinobu Kocho glanced at the Serpent Pillar and the Love Pillar. "As things stand, Kibutsuji Muzan may not be likely to appear here. He wouldn't abandon an Upper Moon Six so easily. The most likely reason he hasn't shown up all this time is that he suspects this is a trap. If I were him, I might look for a way to break the stalemate through you."
"...That reasoning makes sense, but how would he know I'm here?"
Tetsu no Sosuke rubbed his nose.
"We still don't fully understand what Demons can do. And Kibutsuji Muzan is no ordinary Demon."
