Tetsu no Sosuke tore into his food, and Shinobu Kocho did the same. By the time they finished, bones littered the ground. If any other rabbits saw this, they probably wouldn't come near the place again.
Though, in fact, rabbits didn't live around here anyway. Tetsu no Sosuke had even gone beyond the swamp to catch this one.

The surroundings were silent and empty: swamp, water, and stones. Shinobu Kocho looked around for a while before spotting something odd among the reeds. "What's that?"
Tetsu no Sosuke went over to look and broke into a grin. "A mirror!"
It was called a mirror, but it was actually a piece of metal polished smooth enough to show a reflection.
Hidden in the reed bed, it was genuinely hard to spot.
Tetsu no Sosuke turned the mirror and studied it for a while, then immediately began searching the area. He found five mirrors like it in all.
Every one was carefully concealed. Unless someone was looking for them or happened upon them by chance, they might wander around here for a year and still never find them.
