Ch. 601Reunion
Plot points and events
- Shinobu tells the badly injured Tetsu no Sosuke she will return to the Butterfly Estate once he has mostly recovered. He promises that she and Kanae can visit, reminding her that their family has three Pillars and she needn’t face danger alone.
- Sosuke falls asleep while Shinobu tends to his wounds. By morning, he can move and goes to see the other Pillars, who are relieved he survived.
- The group reflects on their battle against Kokushibo and the stronger bonds forged through it. Nearly everyone was injured, but Sosuke suffered the worst after facing Kokushibo for an extended time.
- After the Pillars leave, the Sound Pillar remains behind to recover, troubled that he let his guard down and was badly wounded. Sosuke and he sit quietly together in the sun until Sosuke grows tired.
- The next morning, Sosuke wakes to find Kanae watching over him. She tells him she has returned, and he responds with palpable relief.
