"Are your eyes broken? Can't you see the date on that disgusting bed photo? They were screwing around six months ago, when Wei Zisu and Sun Liang hadn't even broken off their engagement! If you really can't work out a timeline, go back to your elementary school teachers and learn it again!"

"Yuan Zizhen is gentle? How would you know if he acts one way in public and another behind people's backs? He speaks as softly as a mosquito on camera, but how would you know if he's as coarse as Li Kui off camera?"

"And you call Wei Zisu a flop? When he was famous, you hadn't even evolved enough to type! If you really don't know the truth, shut up instead of banging out gibberish on your keyboards like you've got Parkinson's!"

"If Sun Liang and Yuan Zizhen are really innocent, why haven't they responded after all this time? Isn't it because they need to find a PR firm to plate this muddy mess with a layer of fake gold?"

"Knock, knock, knock!"

The knocking on the car window beside him startled Yin Zhengchuan, who had been focused on typing insults.

Outside the window stood a girl of sixteen or seventeen, her hair neatly pinned up at the back of her head, fully revealing a delicate little face like fine porcelain.

She carried a black shoulder bag and tilted her head to smile at Yin Zhengchuan, then opened the rear door and got in.

"What took you so long? You took forever," Yin Zhengchuan complained as he put away his phone.

This was his younger sister, Yin Baozhu. Seventeen this year, she was a beta and a speed skater. She had spent the past week or so at the training center preparing for a competition.

Hearing her brother complain, she slapped his shoulder in displeasure.

Yin Zhengchuan turned around, and Baozhu signed, "Watch your tone. Take back what you just said, or I'll tell Dad and Father when we get home!"

Dad and Father doted on her most. Ever since they were little, whenever she and her brother had a disagreement, all little Baozhu had to do was tell on him, and her brother would get a scolding, no matter who was right or wrong!

In the past, Yin Zhengchuan would have glared at her or ignored her by now, but today he kept grinning, looking completely unbothered.

He turned back to Baozhu and said, "Sis, I've got good news. Your big brother got married!"

Baozhu's mouth fell open in surprise, and she signed, "Who is it? Are they blind? They actually wanted you?"

Yin Zhengchuan paid her words no mind. With a smug smile, he enunciated each syllable: "Wei. Zi. Su."

At that name, Yin Baozhu froze for a long moment before shaking her head in disbelief.

Having come prepared, Yin Zhengchuan leisurely took the marriage certificate out of his pocket and opened it to show him. "We only registered a few days ago. It's still fresh!"

Yin Baozhu finally believed him-and became furious. Grabbing the backpack behind her, she whacked her brother with it over and over!

Yin Zhengchuan didn't indulge her either. He snatched the backpack away and tossed it onto the front passenger seat, confiscating her weapon.

Her face full of fury, Baozhu gritted her teeth and signed, "How could you steal the person I like?!!!"

Back home.

The moment she stepped through the broad, imposing main gate, Yin Baozhu began bawling.

Hearing the commotion, Qin Qin and Yin Changjun hurried out, calling her their darling over and over and asking who had bullied her.

Yin Baozhu stamped her foot and pointed at the entrance.

Yin Zhengchuan, who had just parked and come inside, spread his hands and shook his head to indicate he had no idea, then took off toward his own courtyard.

"Stop right there!" Yin Changjun pointed at him. "I sent you to pick up your sister, and you just had to bring her home crying! Are you asking for a beating?"

Standing in the Nine-Turn Covered Corridor, Yin Zhengchuan said innocently, "I didn't upset her."

"If you didn't upset her, why would she be crying like this?"

"Really." Yin Zhengchuan gave Baozhu a provocative smile. "All I did was tell her Wei Zisu and I got married, and she started crying. She even hit me with her schoolbag."

Qin Qin and Yin Changjun understood.

Ever since Baozhu was twelve, she had liked the actor who played the Mermaid in that television commercial. She had even signed that she would marry him when she grew up. She had been so young then that her parents hadn't taken it seriously, merely humoring her. "All right, all right. Eat plenty, then, and grow up quickly."

Who would have thought that after all these years, the girl still had it on her mind? Hearing that her brother had married the omega she had longed for over the past five years, how could she not cry in heartbreak?

Yin Zhengchuan shrugged as if to say, Can you blame me for that?

Qin Qin rolled his eyes at him, took the bag off his daughter's back, and handed it to the nanny. He coaxed her gently, "Baozhu, why do you like Brother Zisu and want to marry him?"

Sniffling, Yin Baozhu signed, "To live with him and see him every day, of course."

Qin Qin said, "Zisu is twenty-seven this year. He's reached the age when the law requires him to marry. But you're ten years younger than Zisu, so he can't wait until you're old enough to marry. Look, now that your brother has married him and brought him home, you can live with him too and see him often. Isn't that better than him marrying someone else?"

Yin Baozhu took that in and thought Dad had a point. Wiping her tears, she strode up to her brother and signed fiercely, "I'll always like Brother Zisu. If you dare treat him badly, I'll steal him from you!"

Yin Zhengchuan said, "He's my wife. Of course I'll treat him well. Do I need you to tell me that?"

Yin Baozhu signed, "You're ugly and tacky. I don't believe Brother Zisu would ever want you. What exactly did you do to force him to break off his engagement and marry you?"

She had spent days in closed training at the stadium without internet access and still didn't know why Wei Zisu had broken off his engagement.

Yin Zhengchuan couldn't be bothered to explain to the little brat. Moving quickly, he suddenly flipped his sister's thin sun-protection jacket up over her head from behind and used it like a rope to bind the two little hands busy hurling insults!

His sister couldn't speak, so tying her hands was the equivalent of covering her mouth. Yin Zhengchuan had always done this. Whenever he argued with his sister, he would either tie her hands or simply close his eyes, infuriating Yin Baozhu until she cried out.

Yin Zhengchuan ran back to his own courtyard on his long legs, with Baozhu's wordless cries of abuse and his father's scolding trailing behind him.

"You even dare tie up your sister? I'll whip you with a bean stalk!"
