[Dragon Blood: Sprays a searing blast of dragon breath forward to scorch enemies, hot enough to melt iron armor.] [Davion's breath has become Slyrak's elder dragon breath, which once burned an entire order of knights to charcoal.]

"Judging by this skill description, I can breathe dragon breath now too! I just don't know how powerful it is. If it really is dragon breath, probably no one in all of Westeros could withstand a blast from me! ...Not even the White Walkers!"

Davion instinctively stirred the power within his body. A burning sensation rose in his throat, and he could almost picture dragon breath bursting forth!

Davion continued reading:

[Dragon Tail: The Dragon Knight strikes a nearby enemy unit with his shield, stunning and damaging it and the targets around it.] [Davion perfectly combines a dragon's gifts with a knight's skills, making him exceptionally formidable in close combat.]

Davion knew this skill very well. It had another common name: Shield Bash.

In human form, the Dragon Knight held a shield in one hand and a sword in the other.

The principle behind this skill was simply that the Dragon Knight slammed his shield into an enemy, stunning them.

The technique for Shield Bash instantly surfaced in his mind. He tensed his arm slightly and actually felt power gathering in it.

One blow would be enough to shatter an enemy's skull.

Davion suddenly noticed a crucial point: the skill panel listed neither mana costs nor cooldowns.

"Could it be that using these two skills in this world doesn't require magic at all?"

After a moment's thought, he understood.

This was a real world. Dragons breathing fire and people getting dizzy after taking a shield to the head-weren't those perfectly ordinary things?

What was strange about them costing no mana?

He looked at the last two skills:

The two grayed-out skill icons were particularly jarring.

[Dragon's Fury: (Not learned)] [Elder Dragon Form: (Not learned)]

A burning desire flared in Davion's eyes as he stared fixedly at the words "Elder Dragon Form."

If he could unlock this skill, he could transform into a dragon and soar through the skies!

When that time came, never mind Harrenhal-the entire Riverlands, all of Westeros, and even the whole world would tremble beneath his dragonfire!

Davion thought excitedly, An ultimate this overpowered takes level six to unlock in the game. Looks like I'll have to level up as quickly as possible!

Soon, his attention was drawn to the equipment slots beside it.

There were ten equipment slots in total.

Three slots formed a row, with one slot standing apart.

The top two rows were the main equipment slots, containing, in order: Healing Salve (salve), Clarity (mana potion), Quelling Blade (last-hit axe), Tango (tree eater), and two bracers.

The bottom row of slots was called the backpack. It looked a little smaller than the top two rows and served as temporary storage.

Equipment placed here would not take effect or provide its attribute bonuses.

A red cylinder lay quietly in the backpack.

Davion focused his mind before he could make out what it was.

"Fuck! Coca-Cola! How did this come along too?"

Davion was speechless for a moment, but then thought that having cola to drink in this world, which was equivalent to the Middle Ages, was rather nice.

"Too bad there's only one can!"

There was a separate equipment slot on the right, called the neutral item slot.

Only equipment dropped by neutral monsters could be equipped here.

But how could there be neutral monsters that drop equipment in this world? Davion thought helplessly.

Separate from the equipment slots was a circular slot specifically for storing Town Portal Scrolls, also known as TPs.

The number displayed in the slot was two, meaning there were two TPs.

Looking at the salve in his equipment slots, Davion thought:

I wonder if this salve still works? I can't move my body right now, most likely because I'm badly injured! If I use it, maybe it'll heal my injuries!

The moment that thought arose, the green Healing Salve in the equipment slot lit up, then vanished from the slot.

[Healing Salve: Grants health regeneration to the target.] [A magical salve capable of quickly healing even the most severe wounds.]

The equipment slot that had held the Healing Salve was replaced by a string of numbers.

167:59:58.

"Is this... a countdown? Could this equipment slot generate equipment too?! Seven days isn't bad. I can wait!"

Before Davion had time to marvel, he suddenly felt a tremendous life force appear out of nowhere and surge toward the wound on the right side of his head.

A large section there had been caved in.

Now, his shattered skull and compressed brain tissue were restoring themselves at an extraordinary speed.

Davion counted silently, and when he reached sixty,

the Healing Salve's effect abruptly vanished.

Davion's consciousness left the dark space and swiftly returned to his body.

Just then, Pia cried out in delighted surprise.

"The Earl's finger moved!"

Picking his nose with his index finger, Wes said dismissively,

"Pia, are you hallucinating from hunger? Maester Tosmio said..."

When Wes's gaze fell on Davion, the rest of his words caught in his throat.

At some point, Davion had opened his eyes and was now staring at Wes with an inscrutable look.

Wes's heart trembled.

He had served as Harrenhal's steward ever since Davion inherited the earldom.

Davion's gaze had always been gentle, and more often than not, timid.

Wes had never seen such a look in Davion's eyes before.

For a fleeting moment, Wes felt as though Davion's pupils had become vertical slits like a dragon's.

Wes instinctively took a step backward and bumped into the round table behind him.

Seeing that Davion had opened his eyes, Pia cried out in delighted surprise again.

"My lord, you're awake? Seven above!"

She bounced on the spot with joy, then hurried forward to check on Davion.

Power surged through Davion's body, and he felt as though he could kill a mammoth with a single punch.

He reached out to stop Pia's approaching hand.

"I'm all right now, Pia."

He threw back the covers and sat straight up.

That movement made Wes shudder with fright.

He hurriedly turned, pulled the door open, and ran, shouting:

"I'll fetch Maester Tosmio!"

By now, Davion had absorbed his predecessor's memories. Viewing them from an outsider's perspective, he knew Wes was no good.

Coupled with the words he had faintly heard Wes say while he lay in bed, this made him loathe the man even more.

"You fat pig! I'll kill you sooner or later!"

Davion tore the linen cloth off his head.

Pia was just about to stop him when she saw that the site of Davion's wound had returned to normal. Even the hair there had grown to the same length as the rest.

She merely widened her eyes in surprise, her smile growing broader.

She silently repeated, Seven above!

Davion looked at Pia and said with a slight smile:

"Pia, thank you for looking after me these past few days."

Pia gave Davion a small nod. "My lord, there's no need to thank me. It's my duty."

Davion nodded without being overly warm, then asked instead:

"How long was I unconscious? How did I get back? Do you know? And I remember Ser Vereword was injured too. How is he? Where is he now?"
