Stannis came to his senses and immediately ordered an attack.
Three hundred archers fired arrows at close range at the same time, vowing to shoot the mysterious Gary into a hornet's nest.
Gary's eyes flashed with a chill, he raised his left fist high and punched the ground.
"Boom!"
A translucent ice barrier appeared in front of the five Gary people, blocking them from the dense rain of arrows.
This is not over yet, because Gary's large-scale Ice Magic has been launched.
Countless ice spikes stabbed out from the snow, stabbing Stannis and his five hundred soldiers to death on the spot. Also affected were Janos Slint and dozens of Night's Watch who had taken refuge with him.
Gary was smart this time. The raised ice spikes deliberately avoided the horses and only stabbed the cavalry on the horses to death.
Those ice spikes formed "shackles" that fixed the two hundred war horses in place without harming them.
The barrier dissipated, and hundreds of arrows nailed to the barrier fell to the ground.
The four Ygritte standing behind Gary saw this amazing power of the gods.
Countless ice spikes grew out of the snow, stabbing all the soldiers to death. Their bodies hung in the air and swayed left and right, resembling flags.
The only two survivors are Melisandre, who was caught by Bing Hand, and the other is "Onion Knight" Davos, whom Gary focuses on.
In the series "Game of Thrones", Davos is Hand of the King of Stannis. He has excellent diplomatic skills and is a rare talent.
Moreover, after Stannis defeated Winterfell, he followed Jon·Snow, which can be regarded as a positive role in the "protagonist group".
Of course Gary doesn't care about Davos's performance in the series, but Winterfell is in urgent need of talents now, and he cherishes them. So he fantasized about recruiting Davos and deliberately spared Davos's life.
He walked up to Davos, whose limbs were penetrated by ice spikes, and asked, "How? Supreme God's power didn't disappoint you, did it?"
Davos ignored Gary. He kept staring at the body of Stannis beside him, crying.
After Gary was hit, he snapped his fingers, and a pair of ice hands grew out of the ice spikes, forcing Davos's head to straighten so that he could look at Gary.
Davos's eyes were filled with anger, "Your god has killed so many people and is more evil than Lord of Light!"
Gary waved his hand, "No god can tolerate pagans killing their own believers, so Supreme God gave me the ability to fight back."
He then added, "I appreciate you very much. How about you? Are you interested in coming to Winterfell to work for me?"
"Bah!"
Davos spat at Gary and cursed, "Wishful thinking, I want to kill you, but you still want me to be loyal to you?"
Gary dodged the spit, "Oh, you should think about it carefully. I remember that Stannis still has 900 troops stationed outside the city. Are his wife and daughter there?"
"You! You want to kill them all?" Davos glared angrily, biting his lips.
Gary replied with stern eyes, "It depends on your attitude, Onion Knight."
Davos compromised, "I will not be loyal to you until I see Queen Selyse and Princess Shireen return to Dragonstone."
"You think I'm an idiot?"
Gary sneered, "The two of them will live in Winterfell until the end of the war! Also, you have no right to bargain."
Davos was silent for a while and then said, "If you can marry Princess Shireen, I will also be loyal to you."
"Marrying her to the person who killed her father? You are so cruel." Gary couldn't help but mock.
Davos also knows that this is very cruel, but this is the only way to 100% ensure the safety of Princess Shireen and Queen Selyse.
Otherwise, who knows whether Gary will suddenly marry Princess Shireen away from home after he pledges allegiance to her.
Gary dispersed the ice spikes that stabbed Davos's limbs, and used healing Magic to stop the bleeding from his wounds. "You have one night to think about it. Tomorrow I will ride a dragon to the camp outside the city to collect those soldiers. If you don't swear allegiance before I set off, I will treat it as your rejection."
"I will burn the mother and daughter to death and let them go on the road with Stannis."
Davos's wound only stopped bleeding, but did not heal. He lay on the ground, enduring the severe pain in his limbs, reached out to grab the long sword he had dropped on the ground, and swung the sword to slash Gary's ankle.
Gary easily dodged it. He stepped on Davos's sword and bent down to snatch it away.
He held the blade of the sword with his left hand and crushed the sword into ice shards in front of Davos and others.
"This is my last tolerance. If there is another time, you will die together with that mother and daughter."
Ice slag fell on Devlin's face, causing his cheek to hurt. He was completely stunned. How could a mortal be able to compete with such divine power?
Gary came to Melisandre again, "Stannis is dead, what do you say? His death was also arranged by Lord of Light?"
Melisandre fell into confusion after Stannis died.
She was confused about her future, but she had already seen through Gary's "truth".
"Ice Magic, Destruction Iron, there is no Supreme God at all, you are a believer of ancient Other God!"
Gary reached out and took off the ruby collar from her neck, holding the metal part of the collar tightly with his left hand. The collar did not last long before it turned into ice shards in his hands.
Then, he crushed the ruby with his left hand and waited quietly for the change of Melisandre.
The crushed ruby turned into a stream of dark red energy, trying to enter Gary's body. But Gary's green energy reacted quickly and immediately swallowed up the dark red energy.
"No!"
Without the help of the collar, Melisandre soon turned into a centenarian Crone. Her figure was stooped and ugly, and the fat on her body squeezed her slim-fitting red dress, losing all her beauty.
Her originally beautiful long copper-red hair had turned into a few sparse strands of white hair.
Such a huge change not only shocked Edd and others, but even Davos lying on the ground was dumbfounded.
Gary pinched Melisandre's neck and waved away the Ice giant hand that was imprisoning her.
Then, he took off Melisandre's clothes and threw her naked body on the snow.
Gary took off Melisandre's clothes not intentionally to humiliate her. It was because she had too many medicinal powders and spare rubies hidden in her sleeves, both of which are dangerous goods.
He found the spare ruby ornaments and destroyed them one by one with his left hand.
After that, he froze more than a dozen bottles of medicinal powder and clothes into ice cubes and threw them aside, intending to burn them together when the corpse was burned.
Gary waved back, and after Edd and others came over, he took off Edd's cloak and covered Melisandre's body.
"Ygritte, you, Gilly, and Piper are staying. Go back to the King's Tower, prepare a room downstairs from me, and lock this witch in so that you can keep an eye on her."
Then, he called to Edd, "You and I will escort Davos to the dungeon, and release Jon and the others at the same time."
