Two days later, Barristan Selmy personally led a team to escort the first batch of grain to Winterfell.
The remaining grain was still on the boat. They entered the the North inland river from White Harbor, followed White Knife River to the east of Winterfell.
Gary asked three thousand troops to go out of the city to help carry food, and then led Barristan Selmy to the study.
"Barristan Sir Selmy, you don't need to return with Pentos's fleet, stay and help me."
Gary waited for Barristan to sit down and then spoke.
Barristan lowered his head and saluted, "Yes, Your Majesty."
Gary tapped his fingers on the table, "Barristan Sir Selmy, why can't I feel your devotion to Supreme God? Do you still believe in Seven?"
Barristan was quite magnanimous and admitted directly, "Yes, Your Majesty, Seven is still my belief."
