At the Astrologers’ Association, Joanna learned the captives resembled Swarm kin and discovered that Typhon’s Hatchery was struggling with hunger, limited Psionic vessels, and genetic damage.

• Six Terror Beasts surrounded a female mage, who connected to their mental frequency and fainted when the chaotic network overwhelmed her.
• Skadi told Mentor Joanna that the outer Swarm had captured unusual Psionic vessels with organs resembling Swarm features and an ability to communicate.
