His tone was patient, as if he was explaining to an ignorant child, "What's more, I don't have all the Lord of the Rings in my hand, so I can't agree to your request at all.
But if you are willing, I can personally create your own Lord of the Rings for you."
Redd When he heard this sentence, the smile at the corner of his mouth disappeared completely. Sauron is indeed a sinkhole, and nine out of ten sentences are digging holes.
He simply tore through this thin and meaningless disguise. "I am only responsible for setting the price. Whether you can afford to pay or not is not within my scope of consideration. If you can't satisfy me, then there is no need to say more."
When Sauron heard this, he knew that the other party had no intention of continuing the conversation.
However, he also found that the other party's will was very strong. During the conversation, he continued to use the Ring to try to guide or influence the other party's thinking and will, but those attempts were like water splashed on a stone, unable to penetrate.
He did not give up and added, "I can give you a few magic rings as a deposit first. After I collect the other magic rings, I will give them all to you together with this one."
Redd looked at Sauron's face, which was mostly covered by the mask, and smiled.
That smile had a real lightness that comes only when you are amused.
The other party was trying to make a fool of himself. He had heard too many similar promises in his previous life, from people who wanted to benefit from him without paying the price.
Sauron's intention was more obvious than those people's, because he didn't even bother to make decent cakes, he just spread out some empty promises and showed them repeatedly, as if he was coaxing a fool who had never seen the world.
"What you are unwilling to give now, you will be even more unwilling to give after a while," Redd said, "Even a fool will not believe what you say.
And your little moves, do you think I can't notice it? You feel smart, but don't fool everyone into thinking you are a fool."
When Sauron heard the last word of that sentence, he felt the murderous intention on the other side rise sharply.
It only took less than a breath of time for that kind of murderous intention to change from a latent state to an explosive state, like a floodgate that was suddenly pushed open, and all the anger and attack intentions that had been suppressed under the water surged out at the same time at that moment.
Sauron reacted at that moment. His body quickly retreated backwards, and at the same time activated the invisibility ability of the Lord of the Rings, making his body disappear from sight.
His movements were extremely fast, and it only took a few breaths to go from standing to completely disappearing, but Gravity Beam came even faster.
When Redd said that sentence, it had already issued an attack command to King Ghidorah through conscious communication.
King Ghidorah The three heads at the edge of the square turned to where Sauron was standing at the same time. The golden light condensed in the throat and it took less than half a breath to be launched.
Three Gravity Beam shot out at almost the same speed. The first one hit the ground where Sauron was standing just now, blasting the ground in that area into a deep circular pit;
The second and third rays swept across Sauron's retreating path at a slightly deflected angle, and one of them hit Sauron's right thigh, evaporating that part of the armor together with the flesh and blood underneath.
Sauron's figure appeared at the moment when his invisibility was lifted. His body was thrown away by the shock wave, rolled twice in the air and then fell to the ground at the foot of the city wall. When he landed on one leg, he made a dull sound like a heavy object falling to the ground.
One thigh was gone, and the fracture was scorched black. No blood was gushing out, because the high temperature had completely sealed the wound.
The Balrog rushed out from behind the city wall.
It was very fast. It had already started from its hidden position when Sauron was knocked away, and moved along the passage inside the city wall towards the location where Sauron landed at a speed close to its own limit.
Its flame whip drew a bright trajectory in the air, and then quickly closed when it came into contact with Sauron's body, like a flexible arm, it lifted Sauron from the ground and fixed it on its shoulders.
Balrog did not stop, nor did he look back at the direction of the explosion and golden light. He just carried Sauron and ran with all his strength towards the passage behind the city wall.
Its footsteps were heavy and rapid, leaving deep depressions on the ground with each step. When it encountered orcs that had no time to dodge along the way, it would directly knock them away or step on them, leaving a string of trampled wreckage behind them.
King Ghidorah starts moving forward after firing the first round of Gravity Beam.
Its three heads fired alternately, clearing the ballista positions and firing holes on the city wall one by one.
The golden light blasted through the main structure of the underground city wall, the rubble and iron reinforcements were blown into pieces and flew around, and several huge gaps were torn open in the wall in a few breaths.
The support structure at the top of the city wall collapsed after being hit, and the towers and reinforcement beams at the rear fell together, hitting the orcs who were trying to fight back.
The orcs began to flee in all directions, some fled deeper along the passages inside the city wall, some jumped directly off the city wall in an attempt to escape from the the Rift on the edge of the square, and some stood there completely overwhelmed by fear, unable to even turn around and escape.
King Ghidorah did not stop attacking. Its three heads took turns to shoot in different directions, erasing the fortifications and the operators on them, and clearing the entire city wall from the middle to both ends.
Redd stood there, watching King Ghidorah tear the underground fortress into pieces that took a lot of manpower and material resources to build in a few breaths, watching the orcs disappear in groups under the golden light, and watching the Balrog carrying Sauron disappear deep into the passage behind the city wall.
He did not order a pursuit. That passage led deeper underground, and the width and terrain were not suitable for King Ghidorah to pursue. Going deeper rashly would only put himself into unknown risks.
The Orcs' defeat had accomplished his main goal - to destroy this underground fortress, weaken Sauron's forces, and prevent him from organizing another large-scale ground attack in the short term.
He turned around and walked in the direction of King Ghidorah, preparing to arrange for people to completely destroy the altars after clearing the remaining resistance in the square, and then return to the ground.
The battle in the square ended in less than half a cup of tea.
The last round of strafing by King Ghidorah cleared the last area behind the city wall that was still resisting. Those orcs who had not had time to escape into deeper passages were covered by Gravity Beam and turned into ashes, leaving behind a smooth ground that was burned into glass by the high temperature.
The remains of the destroyed ballistae and fragments of the city wall were scattered throughout the square. In some areas, pits several steps deep were blasted into the ground, and the rocks on the edge showed a dark glaze that had been melted and re-solidified.
The air was filled with a strong smell of sulfur and the smell of burning, as well as a large number of dust particles formed after the rocks were vaporized. Those particles floated slowly in the firelight, making the light in the entire space blurry and turbid.
