As they discussed the next world, the two of them unknowingly reached the edge of the city. The ruins grew increasingly scattered, and buildings resembling abandoned factories began to appear.
Beyond the factory district, they found more broken greenhouses.
This should have been the agricultural district. The city had been laid out in an orderly fashion, but with the destruction of the Old World, all of it had become meaningless.
"Wang Chuan said that once we saw the greenhouse district, we could cross the boundary. The Heavenly Soldiers used to set up a containment zone here."
Sure enough, after arriving, they found many abandoned Heavenly Soldiers. They had crashed haphazardly onto the ground, apparently because the disappearance of their backpacks had caused their abilities to lose control.
Mo Ling and Li Luo passed through the abandoned agricultural district. After climbing over a massive mountain of garbage, they saw a strange sight:
Beneath the garbage mountain were many entrances that looked like mirrors. Some were large, some small; the smallest might have been no bigger than a stone, while the largest exceeded two meters in diameter. They were scattered below in complete disorder.
The surfaces of those mirror entrances rippled from time to time, like the patterns of ocean waves. Looking inside, they could vaguely see rolling seawater, black and murky.
Before they left, Wang Chuan had already told Mo Ling and Li Luo what the passages looked like.
They were these strange "Sea Water Mirrors."
Each mirror led to a different world. They were cracks connecting different worlds, and the only way to leave this place.
"Let's take a look down there."
"Okay."
They needed to find a Sea Water Mirror that looked more stable, and its size and shape had to be suitable for both of them to pass
