Omega Zero knew he was being a little too fanciful.
That deep-rooted confusion would not be so easily dispelled.
He did not know how to leave the hotel, nor did he know how to go beyond the "banquet."
Though he was a hotel "employee," he knew nothing about the hotel. His mind was filled with the hotel's rules, without a single piece of truly useful information.
All he could do now was wait for an opportunity.
He did not believe that the hotel had operated for so long without making a single mistake. Those mountain-like accumulations of absurdity would surely erupt at some point, carving out a sliver of reality within this illusion. Then, he could seize that chance to glimpse beyond the illusion.
Omega Zero waited patiently while secretly investigating the hotel's inner workings. Finally, one day, he got his chance...
With a tremendous impact, the entire Banquet Hall seemed to be completely remade, undergoing an earth-shattering transformation. The original guests vanished without a trace, replaced by those strange animals.
The Banquet Hall became a "Ship Cabin." Moss crept across the floors and walls, while Mycotic Dust began drifting through the air.
This floor of the hotel had been entirely "replaced," transformed into something else. The newly appeared scenes and creatures were equally absurd, yet Omega Zero found traces of reality among them.
"They came from outside, from beyond the hotel."
The "outside" he had always longed for, always been curious about.
Omega Zero tried to communicate with these creatures, but received no response. They were all exceptionally "dim-witted" and wary of him, but he was thrilled, because this was how normal living creatures ought to behave.
During his subsequent investigation, Omega Zero discovered that the creatures were connected through fungi. He had considered linking into the Fungal Network
