"Keep burning it, it's not enough!"
Mo Ling stared at the Stone Sphere and shouted anxiously.
The surrounding soldiers raised no objections and continued scorching the Stone Sphere on the ground with their igniters.
"Stop!"
After a while, at Mo Ling's shout, the soldiers switched off their igniters at the same time.
"That should be about enough..."
Mo Ling slowly walked forward. A wave of scorching air hit his face; the heat from the burning had yet to dissipate and still hung in the air around them.
He gently extended one finger and touched the Stone Sphere...
The soldiers present all tensed up at this action. The Stone Sphere had been heated for so long that it had to be scorching hot. Mo Ling would obviously get burned doing that.
Yet Mo Ling acted as though he had not been burned at all. After testing the temperature with his fingertip, he boldly grabbed it, steadily lifted the Stone Sphere, and ran back to a spot where the temperature was more normal.
At the sight, both the soldiers and Captain Qi stood frozen in place.
"Do you have any cloth or something? I want to wrap this up."
It was not until Mo Ling questioned Captain Qi that his somewhat unfocused pupils regained their clarity.
"Yes."
Captain Qi directly took off his jacket and handed it to Mo Ling.
Taking the jacket, Mo Ling carefully wrapped up the Stone Sphere. However, the tense expression on his face did not ease, and his brows remained tightly furrowed.
"What is this thing?" Captain Qi asked seriously as he watched Mo Ling's strange actions.
"I don't know." Mo Ling shook his head. "The Ice Wall formed because of this thing."
"You were the one who sent us the signal just now, right?" Captain Qi
