After traveling through the jungle for nearly twenty minutes, a bead of cold sweat ran down Mo Ling's forehead. He did not know whether it was dew that had fallen onto his head or whether he was simply too tense. He wiped away the sweat and continued scanning the surroundings with his vision.

That uneasy feeling still lingered in Mo Ling's heart. He could still sense that watchful gaze, yet he could not find where it was coming from.

He did not dare warn the other explorers either, because he had no evidence. A casual warning would only cause panic.

Since they had not encountered any danger so far, the organizer clearing the way was no longer as tense as before. Although he was still dutifully opening a path, his steps had grown much bolder and more aggressive.

This lush jungle made it easy for people to let down their guard. Though the vegetation was dense, most of it consisted of low shrubs. The high canopy did not obstruct their view, and although wisps of fog drifted by from time to time, they could still clearly see the distant scenery.
