Girl was already standing at the edge of the Great Tree Cave, staring into its depths with the same vacant look on her face.
"Once we reach the bottom, we should be able to go back," Lu Youqi explained calmly.
"And how did you figure that out?"
"A guess. We came to this world after touching the pool at the bottom before. If we touch it again, we might be able to return. I can't be completely sure, but this is the most likely approach. If it still doesn't work, we'll have to look for other methods..."
"Then let's go down first. It's daytime now. Will that be okay?"
"It'll be fine. This is a good chance to test her ability."
As he spoke, Lu Youqi jumped into the Great Tree Cave.
Unlike their cautious descent before, Girl hopped wildly back and forth across the roots, making a tremendous racket.
