The Abyss had brought many things that had never appeared in this world before, creating strange chemical reactions with the original world.
Among them was a kind of worm that looked very much like a red string.
These worms would appear out of nowhere inside a host's body and begin parasitizing it. After being parasitized, the host would gain unimaginable regenerative abilities.
There were two kinds of worms: male worms and female worms. Hosts parasitized by male worms would frantically seek out hosts parasitized by female worms.
And, by coincidence, a female worm had parasitized her body.
Thus, her shattered body gradually repaired itself, and a heavenly god that had long ceased to exist in this world slowly regained her original form.
Yet she still had no consciousness. She simply remained above the Abyss, quietly gazing upon this world.
Only when two consciousnesses from another world entered her body did she descend upon this world once more and begin her journey...
The silver bells were still trembling, a plea for the heavenly god not to leave this world.
She was the ancestor of all life in this world. The cells that became Rootless Water after death had originated from her, and those very cells had built this world's entire ecosystem.
When they realized that the owner of their genetic information was about to leave them, every cell let out a wail.
But it was still useless. The Great Tree Cave connected two worlds, and the moment they touched that pool of water, there was no turning back.
The girl expressionlessly watched the blue pool as the ghostly light crawled over her body. She had no consciousness and would not care about those pleading calls.
She had merely become this world's heavenly god by accident. Those calls could not possibly awaken
