"What was he doing?"
Outside the enormous crystal, Mo Ling watched Lu Youqi pace back and forth, then lie down and grope around on the ground, with no idea what he was doing.
To get Lu Youqi's attention, Mo Ling slammed his hand against the crystal's surface. Yet the transparent crystal seemed capable of absorbing all vibrations. Mo Ling's hand had gone numb from knocking, but it still made no sound.
Just as Mo Ling was about to find some tools and keep striking it, the tentacles slowly reached over and stopped him.
"What is it? I can't knock on it?" Mo Ling asked in confusion.
The tentacles swayed, then, before Mo Ling's stunned eyes, lashed viciously at the crystal's surface. Their swing directly created a hollow in the water, while the tremendous force stirred up small whirlpools all around.
However, when the tentacles struck the crystal's surface, there was still no sound. Even under such a powerful blow, the crystal remained completely intact, without a single mark.
Mo Ling understood now. These crystals were absolutely impossible for him to break. Even the tentacles could do nothing to them, let alone him...
"Then what do we do? He's still inside. Is there no way to get him out?" Mo Ling stared at Lu Youqi within the crystal, his worry growing deeper.
Something seemed off about Lu Youqi's condition.
"What is he looking for?"
"Is there something on the ground?"
Mo Ling's gaze slowly shifted from Lu Youqi to the ground. He froze for a moment, finally understanding what Lu Youqi was doing.
"There are words on the ground? Is he reading them?"
