Boss shouted anxiously, a few beads of sweat rolling down his forehead. It was hard to tell whether they were caused by Lava Eye Boy's heat or his own panic.
Lava Eye Boy did not disappoint. He stared fixedly at the Sky Soldier inside the Space Ball.
The temperature rose rapidly. Even from far away, the scorching heat made those standing in front unconsciously retreat several steps.
Lava Eye Boy did not let them down at this critical moment. He walked forward against the retreating crowd and even climbed up the rubble, giving his gaze a more comprehensive reach.
A pungent smell of melting metal drifted through the air. The incomparably hard Sky Soldier was actually being damaged by the extreme heat. Blinding light burst from the Space Ball, like a small sun floating in midair. Everyone avoided its glare except Lava Eye Boy, who continued staring at it without blinking, even ignoring the lava that had dripped onto his shoes.
The air around the sun had become completely distorted, and even some of the surrounding walls had begun to melt. Black Hand Girl seemed to have been affected as well, her face turning deathly pale.
Boss was having an even harder time, but he gritted his teeth and did not let the slightest abnormality show on his face. As the backbone of everyone present, every move he made would affect morale.
The Space Ball could not only trap the Sky Soldier, but also lock most of the heat tightly within its center. Though some heat still escaped with the light, it was enough to melt the hardened Sky Soldier.
