Awakened Li Luo

"Why am I melting?"

After drinking the "beverage" she had mixed herself and feeling herself melt, Li Luo's consciousness sank into a deep abyss.

She felt no pain, nor anything else. She only felt herself pass through a very, very long passage. Then, someone seemed to gently support her head, and she gradually regained consciousness.

"Where... am I?"

The moment Li Luo opened her eyes, dim light flooded her vision.

She seemed to have arrived in a narrow, dark corridor, with faintly visible lighting fixtures hanging along the "high walls" on both sides.

As her vision slowly cleared, she looked around and realized they were not high walls at all, but two rows of towering Data Units.

The units were fitted with orderly lighting and stretched all the way to the sky. Li Luo raised her head and stared in astonishment for a long time, but still could not make out just how tall the two rows were.

Where she stood was not some "corridor," either, but the gap between the two rows of units. The passage seemed endless. Li Luo glanced to either side and could only see distant lights shining through gray dust, stretched into strips of illusory light. Beyond that, she could see nothing at all.

"Where did Iron Block go?"

Li Luo hurriedly looked around for any sign of Cube, but she found nothing. Her anxiety only grew.

"Don't tell me Iron Block didn't come with me..."

Li Luo still did not understand the principle behind traveling from the fifth layer to the sixth, so she could not be sure whether Cube could follow her. After all, she had been the only one to drink that "beverage."

She looked over her clothes and luggage. Even Little Purple had come along, so why had Cube not?
