Arc 10Sunagakure’s Expansion

Yubi defeated Hanzō, brought the Land of Rain under Sunagakure’s control, and strengthened the village through new alliances, research, and plans for economic development. After investigating the Chimera Technique and gaining the Queen of Roran’s bloodline, he turned to rebuilding the Land of Rain and transforming the Land of Wind.

  • Yubi recovered Madara’s corpse and Sharingan, then led Sunagakure into the Land of Rain and killed Hanzō with Sasori and Rasa.
  • Yubi forced Akatsuki to accept Sunagakure’s control of the Land of Rain, took Nagato’s Rinnegan, and removed Konan’s cursed seal.
  • Yubi directed Sunagakure’s occupation of Amegakure and appointed Sasori and Rasa to manage the village while Danzo and other villages opposed Sunagakure’s expansion.
  • Yubi welcomed the Fuma Clan into Sunagakure, assessed its members, and ordered Fuma Hayato to replace Masahide as clan head.
  • Yubi declined to exploit Kirigakure’s leadership crisis, welcomed Kimimaro, the Sound Four, Jugo, and Mizuki Uzumaki, and continued developing Sunagakure’s research and forces.
  • Yubi killed Hiruko and took his Chimera Technique for Sunagakure’s researchers, then traveled through the dragon vein to meet the Queen of Roran and obtain her bloodline and training methods.
  • Yubi transplanted the Queen of Roran’s cells and proposed developing the Land of Rain while redirecting water and altering terrain to reduce desertification in the Land of Wind.
  • Yubi proposed funding Sunagakure’s development through physical-enhancement serums, pharmaceutical factories, and sales of access to the village’s research.
Chapters 228–252 Vol. 3 Read

Ch. 228Looting complete

Yubi forced Black Zetsu to cooperate, visited Madara’s hideout in the Land of Grass, and took Madara’s corpse and grave goods from a mountain in the Land of Fire. He left Black Zetsu and the White Zetsu to monitor the Shinobi World and ordered Black Zetsu to return with him to Sunagakure.

  • Black Zetsu decided to cooperate with Yubi and guided him to Madara’s underground hideout in the Land of Grass.
  • Yubi examined the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and questioned Black Zetsu about Madara’s Sharingan.
  • Black Zetsu told Yubi that Madara’s Sharingan were with his corpse, hidden in a remote mountain in the Land of Fire.
  • Yubi found Madara’s remains, took the corpse and its grave goods, and considered the risks of reviving him.
  • Yubi ordered Black Zetsu to return to Sunagakure with him while the White Zetsu and Demonic Statue remained at the hideout.

Ch. 229Attacking the Land of Rain

Yubi prepared Sunagakure’s forces and genetic research for an invasion of the Land of Rain. After learning that Akatsuki was about to negotiate with Amegakure, he set out to join the army at the border.

  • Yubi transplanted Sharingan into Sunagakure Jonin and helped Saori develop a Kaguya bone-cell serum that reduced the drawbacks of their kekkei genkai.
  • Yubi planned three types of injectable genetic serum and considered whether combining Uchiha blood with Hashirama and Uzumaki cells could eventually produce the Rinnegan.
  • Yubi kept Obito Uchiha’s spent Mangekyō Sharingan, declined Zetsu’s suggestion to transplant an eye, and ordered Zetsu to wear Sunagakure’s forehead protector.
  • Arai reported that Sunagakure’s army had reached the Land of Rain’s border, and Yubi ordered him to set out with him.
  • Yubi learned through White Zetsu that Akatsuki was about to negotiate with Amegakure and prepared to take the first step toward reshaping the Shinobi World.

Ch. 230Passing the baton, changing players

Hanzō and Danzo ambushed Akatsuki and forced Nagato to choose between killing Yahiko and Konan's life. Yubi, Rasa, and Sasori arrived from Sunagakure just in time to save Akatsuki, leaving Hanzō and Danzo facing the new opponents.

  • Yahiko led Akatsuki into Hanzō's trap, where Amegakure and Konoha forces surrounded them and captured Konan.
  • Hanzō threatened Konan and ordered Nagato to kill Yahiko, while Nagato anxiously asked where Sunagakure's forces were.
  • Yahiko lunged toward Nagato's kunai, but he teleported away before it could strike him.
  • Yubi appeared with Rasa and Sasori, used his domain to bring Konan to safety, and challenged Hanzō and Danzo.

Ch. 231Playing with poison? I'll join you

Yubi confronted Hanzō after Sunagakure intervened to save the Akatsuki, while Yahiko learned that Konan and Nagato had sought Sunagakure’s help. Hanzō forced a battle to begin, and Yubi countered Ibuse’s poison with a spreading red mist.

  • Yubi accused Amegakure of colluding with Konoha, and Sasori and Yubi challenged Hanzō’s authority over the Land of Rain.
  • Konan told Yahiko that she and Nagato had accepted Sunagakure’s help to defeat Hanzō, but Yahiko objected to relying on an outside power.
  • Danzo ordered the Root forces to retreat, but Hanzō summoned Ibuse and attacked to keep Konoha from withdrawing.
  • Konoha ninja formed a protective wall around Danzo as Amegakure forces charged Yubi, Sasori, Rasa, and the Akatsuki.
  • Yubi raised a vast wave of blood, released a thick red mist, and warned Hanzō that he would join him in using poison.

Ch. 232Your head... is mine!

Yubi and the Sunagakure fighters devastated the Amegakure forces, and Yubi killed Hanzō in a swift exchange. As the Konoha troops charged him, Yubi unleashed a tide of blood across the high ground.

  • Yubi's blood poison spread through the battlefield, while Hanzō used explosive tags and fire to weaken the Bloody Mist.
  • Rasa buried Amegakure ninja with gold dust, while the Third Raikage and Sasori's puppets attacked Hanzō's forces and Ibuse.

  • Yubi severed Hanzō's head and caught it as the Konoha troops watched in shock.
  • The Konoha commander led his troops in a charge, and Yubi swept across the high ground with a tide of blood.

Ch. 233One good turn deserves another

Yahiko and Nagato watched Sunagakure’s forces overwhelm Amegakure after the Fourth Kazekage killed Hanzō, while Danzo fled toward the Land of Fire. Arai’s Sunagakure squad ambushed Danzo and his Root escort, revealing that every member had a Sharingan before attacking.

  • Yahiko and Nagato stayed behind as Konan led Akatsuki’s members away from the battle, where the Fourth Kazekage and Hanzō had begun fighting.
  • Yubi, Sasori, and Rasa attacked Amegakure’s forces with blood techniques, puppets, and Gold Dust while Rasa replenished his chakra with a Senzu Bean.
  • Danzo withdrew with a Root escort, concluded that Sunagakure had planned its attack on the Land of Rain, and resolved that Konoha needed to curb the village’s rise.
  • Arai and twenty Sunagakure ninja ambushed Danzo’s group in the forest and challenged Konoha’s claim that Sunagakure had broken their ceasefire.
  • Arai revealed that every Sunagakure ninja in the squad had a Sharingan, then said the Fourth Kazekage had sent them to repay Danzo for past attacks and signaled them to charge.

Ch. 234Choose for yourselves

Yubi defeated Hanzō and confronted Yahiko’s Akatsuki, insisting that the Land of Rain become territory of the Land of Wind under their prior agreement. Yahiko accepted that he had little choice and asked what Yubi wanted the Akatsuki to do.

  • After Hanzō died, the Amegakure forces broke and fled, while Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan regrouped with the Akatsuki.
  • Yahiko assessed Sunagakure’s victory and concluded that the Akatsuki could not defeat Yubi, Rasa, and Sasori.
  • Yubi gained 5,000 experience points for killing Hanzō and considered saving more points to configure Room Scan.
  • Yubi told Yahiko and the others that Sunagakure was seizing Amegakure and that the Land of Rain would belong to the Land of Wind.
  • Konan objected, but Yubi invoked their agreement and threatened the Akatsuki with the Cursed Seal he had placed inside her.
  • Yahiko accepted the situation and asked Yubi what he wanted the Akatsuki to do.

Ch. 235The Rinnegan Secured, Akatsuki's Ideological Transformation (Two-in-One)

Yubi forced Akatsuki to accept Sunagakure’s temporary rule over the Land of Rain, taking Nagato’s Rinnegan in exchange for removing Konan’s cursed seal. Akatsuki remained independent and resolved to grow stronger while Yubi prepared for the wider backlash his plans could provoke.

  • Yubi offered Yahiko a five-year period for Sunagakure to restore peace in the Land of Rain, and Yahiko agreed while reserving Akatsuki’s right to reclaim sovereignty if conditions did not improve.
  • Yubi demanded Nagato’s eyes to remove Konan’s cursed seal, and Nagato agreed; Yubi took the Rinnegan, restored Nagato’s ordinary eyes, and removed Konan’s seal.
  • Yubi warned Akatsuki not to interfere in the coming fighting, then left with Sasori and Rasa while explaining that he intended to use Akatsuki as a political counterweight against other villages.
  • Yubi anticipated that Sunagakure’s expansion into the Land of Rain could provoke the other great villages and lead to a war against Sunagakure.
  • Yahiko acknowledged Akatsuki’s weakness and resolved to keep pursuing peace while building strength, and his companions pledged to continue following him.

Ch. 236Capturing Amegakure

Yubi learned that Danzo had escaped wounded and that Sunagakure’s assault on Amegakure was close to overwhelming its defenders. As Danzo returned to Konoha vowing to destroy the Uchiha, Yubi headed toward Amegakure to oversee its capture.

  • Arai told Yubi that Danzo had escaped with serious wounds, and Yubi revealed that the attack had been meant to deepen Danzo’s hostility toward the Uchiha.
  • Zetsu reported that Amegakure’s defenses were crumbling while Hanzo and the village’s main force were away, so Yubi decided to go there.
  • Shimizu directed Sunagakure forces through Amegakure, ordered troops to pursue fleeing defenders and protect villagers, and moved to join Pakura’s assault on Hanzo’s residence.
  • Danzo was carried back toward Konoha, blaming Hiruzen for Sunagakure’s acquisition of Sharingan and renewing his resolve to eliminate the Uchiha.
  • Danzo recognized Yubi’s strategy but expected Sunagakure to suffer from the Uchiha’s presence, and resolved to warn the other villages about Sunagakure’s ambitions.

Ch. 237Diplomatic protest

Yubi’s forces captured Amegakure, and he ordered a harsh crackdown while negotiating Sunagakure’s control with the villagers’ elders. As Sunagakure began planning its occupation of the Land of Rain, Ōnoki learned of the conquest and ordered Iwagakure to protest and demand talks.

  • Yubi ordered the execution of Amegakure’s major clans’ remaining members and arranged for village elders to negotiate with Sunagakure.
  • Yubi’s forces agreed that Sunagakure would control and transform Amegakure, while planning operations to subdue the Land of Rain’s regional powers and armed groups.
  • Yubi left Sasori and Rasa in charge of the occupied village and instructed them to kill anyone who resisted.
  • Yubi returned to Sunagakure to receive the Fuma Clan, which was preparing to relocate there.
  • Ōnoki learned that Sunagakure had captured Amegakure and suspected it had cooperated with the Akatsuki.
  • Ōnoki ordered Kitsuchi to contact the Third Hokage and send Sunagakure a stern protest demanding an explanation and talks.

Ch. 238Officially settling in

Yubi welcomed the Fuma Clan as it settled in Sunagakure, while discussing the village’s political isolation and plans to counter it with Chiyo. He recognized a Fuma Clan member who was destined to become the first male Animal Path in the original story.

  • Baki and Yura escorted Fuma Masahide and more than fifty Fuma Clan members toward Sunagakure.
  • Masahide considered joining Sunagakure a gamble but hoped the clan’s move would raise his standing in the village.
  • Yubi and Chiyo discussed how Sunagakure would dismiss other villages’ objections and blame Danzo for colluding with Hanzō.
  • Yubi welcomed Masahide at the village gates and shook his hand, though Masahide left him with a bad impression.
  • Yubi spotted a long-haired Fuma Clan member he recognized as the future first male Animal Path.

Ch. 239A Bunch of Fools

Yubi welcomed the Fuma Clan into Sunagakure but withheld promises of power, ordering an assessment and surveillance as the clan settled into its new compound. Masahide’s followers plotted to gain influence, while Fuma Hayato doubted their judgment.

  • Yubi toured Sunagakure with Fuma Masahide and the Fuma Clan, whose members were pleased with their new compound and began demanding positions and preferential treatment.
  • Yubi and Ebizo reminded the Fuma Clan that they would have to follow village rules and prove their strength; Masahide apologized for his people’s demands.
  • Yubi told Baki to assess the Fuma Clan’s abilities the next day and have Anbu watch them closely.
  • Masahide led a meeting where Fuma Clan members discussed using their strength to secure authority and resources, agreeing to wait until they had entered village institutions before pushing harder.
  • Fuma Hayato watched the clan leaders plot and thought they were a bunch of fools.

Ch. 240The gap in reality

Sunagakure assessed the Fuma Clan’s ninja in combat, revealing how far most of them lagged behind the village’s trained fighters. Fuma Masahide and three others earned Jonin ranks, while Yubi studied Masahide’s Curse Binding Mandala.

  • Yubi watched as Sunagakure Jonin defeated Fuma Ken and Fuma Ryoya, who was promoted to Special Jōnin after Yubi intervened.
  • Fuma Masahide fought the exhausted Sunagakure Jonin and won by trapping him with Curse Binding Mandala, earning the Jonin rank.
  • Yubi analyzed the spatial barrier technique and noted its lethal effect and the time and precision needed to use it.
  • Two more Fuma Clan members, including Fuma Hayato, earned Special Jōnin ranks for their abilities and experience.
  • The day’s assessments ended with four Fuma Clan members promoted to Jonin, leaving the clan disappointed by how weak most of its members were compared with Sunagakure’s ninja.

Ch. 241Political maneuvering and the truly clever

Yubi sent the newly arrived Fuma Clan to the Land of Rain front, presenting the mission as a chance to prove themselves and gain standing in Sunagakure. After learning that Fuma Masahide planned to seek clan benefits, Yubi ordered Fuma Hayato to take over as clan head once Masahide died.

  • Yubi told Fuma Masahide that the clan needed battlefield experience to earn important positions and sent them to the Land of Rain.
  • Zetsu revealed that Yubi knew Masahide planned to use the clan's growing influence to demand favorable terms from Sunagakure.
  • Yubi questioned Fuma Hayato about his views, and Hayato criticized Masahide for putting the clan's interests ahead of loyalty to the village.
  • Yubi told Hayato that Masahide would die in the Land of Rain and ordered Hayato to take over as clan head.
  • Yubi ordered Zetsu to have Sasori and Rasa eliminate any Fuma Clan members who resisted the handover or obstructed the mission.

Ch. 242The beginning of upheaval in the Shinobi World

Sunagakure’s brutal campaign crushed resistance across the Land of Rain, while Shimizu and Sasori blocked Konoha and Iwagakure from gathering intelligence. In Konoha, Hiruzen Sarutobi considered how to respond to Sunagakure’s expansion as the village faced other pressing problems.

  • Rasa ordered Sunagakure forces to kill everyone at a suspected rebel base, including civilians, as they swept through the Land of Rain.
  • Yahiko learned that Sunagakure’s campaign had caused civilian deaths, while Konan noted that its brutality was driving armed groups to withdraw.
  • Shimizu intercepted Konoha ninja at the border and warned them to leave, declaring that the Land of Rain was now the Land of Wind.
  • Sasori ordered Sunagakure ninja to erase evidence after he killed more than a dozen Iwagakure ninja, and he continued turning Hanzo of the Salamander’s body into a puppet.
  • Hiruzen Sarutobi discussed Sunagakure’s advance with Konoha’s leaders, while Danzo proposed an alliance with other ninja villages and Sarutobi asked Minato and the others for their views.

Ch. 243Generic drugs hit the market and public opinion turns one-sided

Konoha’s leaders debated how to counter Sunagakure’s expansion, while Danzo turned the launch of Konoha’s generic drugs into a campaign to condemn Sunagakure’s occupation of the Land of Rain. Yubi remained unconcerned by the wave of criticism, focusing on securing Sunagakure’s gains and continuing its pharmaceutical business.

  • Hiruzen Sarutobi, Mitokado Homura, Utatane Koharu, Minato, and Danzo discussed Sunagakure’s growing military power and concluded Konoha could not challenge it directly.
  • Danzo decided to use Konoha’s generic drug launch to encourage public condemnation of Sunagakure’s military operations.
  • With the daimyo’s office coordinating sales, Konoha began distributing generic drugs across the Shinobi World and competing with Sunagakure’s pharmaceutical market.
  • Yubi learned that Danzo had used Konoha’s new business partners to organize criticism of Sunagakure’s seizure of the Land of Rain.
  • The other great shinobi villages and smaller countries joined the public condemnation, but Yubi dismissed the campaign as harmless words and continued prioritizing control of the Land of Rain.

Ch. 244Starting... to play tricks?

Yubi reviewed Sunagakure’s occupation of the Land of Rain as the Third Shinobi World War ended, then learned that Kirigakure’s Mizukage had been murdered. Suspecting Black Zetsu had caused the killing, Yubi let him retrieve the body while considering the power struggle that might follow in Kirigakure.

  • Arai told Yubi that Sunagakure had cleared most outside forces from the Land of Rain, but would need at least a year to secure control and rebuild Amegakure.
  • Yubi asked Arai to congratulate the Land of Fire’s daimyo’s office ahead of Minato Namikaze becoming Fourth Hokage.
  • Black Zetsu told Yubi that Kirigakure’s Mizukage had been murdered by someone close to him after the war ended.
  • Yubi questioned Black Zetsu’s explanation, suspected he was behind the murder, and ordered him to bring back the Mizukage’s body.
  • Yubi considered the power vacuum in Kirigakure and the possibility that Yagura and rival factions would struggle over the Mizukage position.

Ch. 245Minato rises to power

Yubi assessed the turmoil in Kirigakure after the Third Mizukage’s assassination and rejected Black Zetsu’s suggestion to exploit it, wary of provoking a united response against Sunagakure. He then learned that Minato Namikaze would become the Fourth Hokage and ordered a congratulatory letter sent to Konoha.

  • White Zetsu reported that Kirigakure’s factions, including Yagura’s reformers, the Third Mizukage’s former supporters, and the Hozuki Clan, were contending for influence after the Mizukage’s death.
  • Black Zetsu urged Yubi to accelerate Kirigakure’s chaos and install a puppet Mizukage, but Yubi declined to intervene.
  • Yubi suspected Black Zetsu had helped leak news of the assassination and decided to keep him useful for now before eventually eliminating him.
  • Yura informed Yubi that Minato Namikaze would become the Fourth Hokage in three days.
  • Yubi ordered a letter sent to Konoha to congratulate Minato.

Ch. 246The fourth-generation Kage, a new era

Yubi completed Sunagakure’s recruitment of several powerful children and considered who should become the next One-Tail Jinchuriki. After learning that Karatachi Yagura had become the Fourth Mizukage and purged his rivals, Yubi reflected that the shinobi world’s future had become unpredictable.

  • Yubi welcomed Kimimaro, the Sound Four, and Jugo to Sunagakure, while learning that Honoka had died when Summoning Island’s research facility was destroyed.
  • Mizuki Uzumaki joined Sunagakure’s Sealing Squad, where Yubi tasked her with developing the village’s sealing arts alongside its existing traditions.
  • Yubi refused to make Mizuki the One-Tail Jinchuriki and planned to seal Shukaku in Gaara after his birth, pending discussion with Rasa and Karura.
  • Sunagakure received news that Karatachi Yagura had become the Fourth Mizukage after securing allies and ruthlessly crushing opposition in Kirigakure.
  • Juzo Biwa and Raiga Kurosuki defected, Suikazan Fuguki died, and White Zetsu retrieved Fuguki’s corpse as Yubi considered how the new generation of Kage might shape the world.

Ch. 247Hiruko

Yubi trained his ninjutsu and chakra abilities while the great villages pursued recovery and political gains after the war. After White Zetsu found Hiruko in the Land of Wind, Yubi set out to capture or study him and his Chimera Technique.

  • Yubi continued training in sealing, nature transformations, and other techniques as the villages rebuilt and Sunagakure tightened its control over the Land of Rain.
  • Yubi tested the Fuma Clan's Curse Binding Mandala, then practiced wind and fire techniques in the desert.
  • Yubi decided against using Hashirama's cells because the village's research had not resolved their side effects.
  • White Zetsu reported that Hiruko had been found after sneaking into the Land of Wind.
  • Yubi ordered White Zetsu to lead him to Hiruko, hoping to study the Chimera Technique and bring it back to the village.

Ch. 248Let me help you

Yubi tracked Hiruko to his hideout in the Land of Wind and overpowered him after learning about his Chimera Technique experiments. Yubi planned to use Hiruko and his forbidden technique for Sunagakure’s research, leaving Hiruko helpless as Yubi reached for him.

  • Yubi followed White Zetsu’s guidance to Hiruko’s hideout in the Land of Wind and saw that Hiruko had already absorbed two kekkei genkai.
  • Hiruko endured severe pain while planning to collect four kekkei genkai and eventually absorb Kakashi to complete his Chimera Technique.
  • Yubi entered Hiruko’s cave and inspected his research, including experiments on captured summoning beasts.
  • Hiruko attacked Yubi, but Yubi repelled him and used dōjutsu and chakra-point strikes to immobilize him.
  • Yubi revealed his identity as the Fourth Kazekage and said he wanted Hiruko’s forbidden technique to inspire Sunagakure’s research.
  • Yubi reached for Hiruko as Hiruko pleaded with him to stop.

Ch. 249The Dragon Vein

Yubi killed Hiruko, studied the Chimera Technique for Sunagakure’s genetic research, and traveled to the Rōran ruins to investigate the dragon vein. He reached the underground altar with Chiyo, Arai, and Shinobi Temple monks, preparing to undo the seal and seek control of the dragon vein.

  • Yubi examined Hiruko’s body and concluded that the Chimera Technique’s principles could help improve genetic fusion experiments.
  • Hiruko died, and Yubi received one thousand experience points for killing him.
  • Yubi gave the Chimera Technique to Saori and the others before setting out for the Rōran ruins.
  • Yubi explained that he planned to reach the Ancient Kingdom of Roran, meet its Queen, and learn to control the dragon vein.
  • Yubi, Chiyo, Arai, and the Shinobi Temple monks descended to the underground altar, where Arai sensed the immense energy sealed beneath it.

Ch. 250The key

Yubi traveled through the dragon vein to the original Rōran Kingdom, gained the Queen of Roran’s bloodline and training methods, and resealed the dragon vein in the past. He returned safely to the present, where Chiyo learned he had succeeded.

  • Yubi opened the dragon vein with the monks’ sealing barrier and used its power to travel into the past.
  • Yubi found the primitive Rōran Kingdom and met the Queen of Roran, explaining the dragon vein’s threat and gaining her trust.
  • Yubi confirmed the queen’s lineage could guide and suppress the dragon vein, then obtained its bloodline and training methods without interfering further in the past.
  • The dragon vein’s power vanished in the present, and Yubi reappeared unharmed as the seal closed again.
  • Black Zetsu watched Yubi return and quickly vanished, while Chiyo asked how the journey went and Yubi said he had gotten what he needed.

Ch. 251Acquiring and developing resources

Yubi assimilated cells from the Queen of Roran, strengthening his Yin Release and Dōjutsu while waiting to see whether he could eventually use the Dragon Vein. At a Sunagakure meeting, he laid out plans to develop the Land of Rain and improve the Land of Wind’s environment before another war broke out.

  • Yubi transplanted the Queen of Roran's cells into his body and controlled them as they slowly adapted, boosting his Yin Release and Dōjutsu.
  • Sasori, Rasa, and the others returned from the Land of Rain, which Sunagakure had brought under control, and discussed its resources and shortage of workers.
  • Yubi said Sunagakure would develop the Land of Rain through mining, forestry, agriculture, fishing, and livestock farming, using its own people to provide labor.
  • Yubi proposed diverting the Land of Rain's water into the Land of Wind and breaking through the mountain barrier to bring moisture across the border.
  • Yubi said Sunagakure would combat desertification by changing the Land of Wind's ecology and terrain, and would negotiate with neighboring countries to alter mountains that blocked rainwater.

Ch. 252Commercial strategy

Yubi outlined how Sunagakure would fund large-scale development in the Land of Wind and help rebuild the Land of Rain. He proposed selling pharmaceutical factories and research access while launching a serum industry, leaving Sunagakure poised to finance its plans through new revenue streams.

  • Chiyo warned that developing the Land of Wind would require the entire country to contribute, and Rasa questioned whether Sunagakure could afford the cost.
  • Yubi said Sunagakure would partner with the Akatsuki to rebuild the Land of Rain and hire citizens of the Land of Wind for domestic development work.
  • Yubi revealed that Sunagakure had developed physical-enhancement serums for ordinary people and ninja, which he expected to become a major source of revenue.
  • Yubi proposed building pharmaceutical factories in neighboring countries and selling access to Sunagakure's pharmaceutical research resources.
  • Yubi explained that competition from Konoha, Iwagakure, and future companies would erode Sunagakure's pharmaceutical monopoly, so the village should cash in while it could and rely on the serum industry for future profits.
