Yu Tianlong left the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and grew stronger with Cho'Gath before accepting Qian Renxue’s protection in Heaven Dou City. After rejecting Liu Erlong’s attempt to bring him back to the clan, he joined Qian Renxue, Ning Fengzhi, and the others at the Heaven Dou Auction House.
Yu Tianlong evolved Cho'Gath, enrolled at Heaven Dou Royal Academy, and defeated Yu Tianheng after exposing his strength. After discovering Dugu Yan and Dugu Bo were poisoned, he agreed to help them in exchange for Soul Beasts and traveled with them to Dugu Bo’s medicinal garden.
Yu Tianlong gained the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ power and used rare herbs to heal Dugu Bo and transform the abilities of Ning Rongrong, Dugu Yan, and Ye Lingling. After visiting their families, he led the girls toward the Star Dou Great Forest, where they encountered Tang San’s group and a brewing clash with Canghui Academy.
Yu Tianlong defeated Zhao Wuji and the Shrek group, took Tang San’s hidden techniques, and brought Zhu Zhuqing into his circle before leading the girls into the Star Dou Great Forest. There, the Titan Giant Ape attacked, Bi Ji rescued Yu Tianlong, and the remaining companions fought the beast as the stretch ended with its roar blasting them away.
Yu Tianlong captured Xiao Wu, strengthened his companions, and returned to Heaven Dou City with Bi Ji and Zhu Zhuqing. As he prepared to enter the Continental Soul Master Tournament, he began plotting against the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan and watched Shrek Academy arrive at the opening ceremony.
Yu Tianlong received a deadly Sea God trial while Shrek Academy advanced through the tournament, defeating Elephant Armor Academy. As Shi Nian trapped Tang San in an illusion drawn from his memories, Tang Hao intervened and demanded to see the dream himself.
Yu Tianlong led Heaven Dou Royal Academy to victory over Spirit Hall Academy, while Spirit Hall exposed Yu Xiaogang and Tang San’s past before Tang San killed Yu Xiaogang. Tang Hao rescued Tang San, leaving him hunted by Spirit Hall and other factions as Yu Tianlong’s party departed with new Soul Bones and Shrek’s graduates chose their futures.
Tang San lost his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline, his family, and his standing before entering Slaughter City, while Yu Tianlong and Bi Ji secretly shaped events around him. Hu Liena survived the arena and became a formidable killer, leaving her obsessed with Yu Tianlong as she continued to fight her way toward Hell Road.
Hu Liena completed Hell Road with Yu Tianlong’s help, gained Divine Slaughter's Domain, and returned to Spirit Hall as its new Holy Maiden. Years later, Yu Tianlong helped broker an alliance between Spirit Hall and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, though the outside world believed the sect had been destroyed.
Yu Tianlong helped Qian Renxue secure the Heaven Dou throne, received the Sea God’s inheritance, and married his companions. He then set out for Sea God Island with Huo Wu and Shui Bing'er, buying a boat after they defeated the Sea Spirit Brothers.
Yu Tianlong exposed Haider’s treachery, brought the Purple Pearl Pirates under his authority, and led his companions to Sea God Island. There they began the island’s dangerous trials, with Shui Bing’er receiving a black-level assessment and Zhu Zhuqing’s assessment turning black as well.
Yu Tianlong and his companions began their Sea God assessments, using the Sea God’s Light to strengthen themselves as they prepared for their first trials. Yu Tianlong completed the first of the Sea God’s Nine Trials and the group received a second trial that sealed their Soul Ring skills and trapped them behind the Ring Sea blockade.
Yu Tianlong and his wives passed the Ring Sea and Tidal Body Tempering trials, then prepared to face the Evil Spirit Orcas. With Xiao Bai and her Demon Soul Great White Sharks, they launched a battle against the orca pod, leaving the Evil Orca King wounded and the fight still underway.
Yu Tianlong and his companions defeated the Evil Orca King and began challenging the Seven Sacred Pillar Guardians to complete their Fifth Trials. By the Sea Witch Sacred Pillar, Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong had earned recognition, while Zhu Zhuqing’s trial remained in progress.
Yu Tianlong overcame Bo Saixi’s Sixth Trial, drew the Sea God Trident, and earned the Sea God’s recognition. With his Eighth Trial set to require a full set of Soul Bones and nine-ring strength, he prepared to leave Sea God Island with Bo Saixi and the women.
Yu Tianlong and his allies brought the Star Luo Empire under their control as Tang San confronted Tang Chen and hunted powerful Soul Beasts in the Star Dou Great Forest. Tang San killed the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger and the Man Faced Spider Emperor, strengthening his Clear Sky Hammer and gaining the Eight Spider Lances.
Tang San absorbed the three Qian Jun Ant Emperor Soul Rings and escaped Qian Renxue’s first attempt to capture him. He then wagered that he could withstand her for one stick of incense, and the duel continued as he unleashed Ring Detonation and the Great Sumeru Hammer.
Tang San survived Qian Renxue’s pursuit and escaped toward the sea, while Yu Tianlong set out to obtain the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King’s Soul Ring. Yu Tianlong began a battle with the whale king and charged in after using Ning Rongrong’s support.
Yu Tianlong defeated the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, absorbed its power, and returned to Sea God Island to begin the final inheritance. Bo Saixi sacrificed herself to open the path, and Yu Tianlong entered the Sea God’s trials, where the first trial stripped away his rib Soul Bones.
Yu Tianlong completes the Sea God inheritance, then helps Qian Renxue confront Tang San and supports his wives as they absorb their final Soul Rings. The arc ends with Ning Rongrong accepting the Asura God inheritance as Yu Tianlong prepares to seek Tang San and other divine positions.
