Chapter Summaries

After Fang Yan helped resolve the Paras and Parasect outbreak in Viridian Forest, he returned to the Pokémon Day Care with Gothitelle, which wanted to test the medicinal properties of Parasect spores. Their trial turned into a chaotic experiment when Gengar drank the brew and caused a disastrous bout of gas in the nearby forest.

• Fang Yan left Professor Oak to investigate the outbreak and returned to the Pokémon Day Care through the Distortion Passage with his Pokémon.
• Latias chased Fang Yan after he teased her about her weight, and Cynthia intervened before Latias flew off with Meloetta.
• Fang Yan explained to Cynthia, Mrs. Fujino, and Professor Carolina that the Paras and Parasect had caused the forest damage, while Gothitelle prepared medicine from Parasect spores.
