Two-Tails Chakra Cloak

Kushina nodded to the Third Hokage, then her consciousness entered the seal space.

"I'm ready, Senior Kurama!"

Kurama looked at Kushina standing before him, her fists clenched and her eyes firm and brave, and felt deeply reassured.

A little foolish was fine. With that brat around, he certainly wouldn't let Kushina get the short end of the stick.

"Good. I'll first let out a little chakra for you to use. Once you've adapted, I'll gradually increase the amount."

As the Nine-Tails began releasing chakra, Kushina's pupils turned into red slits just like his. Whiskers grew on her face, her teeth sharpened, and her nails became incredibly sharp. Irregular red chakra swirled around her, giving her an imposing presence.

A dangerous aura quickly spread. The Sealing Squad had already taken out sealing scrolls and formed hand seals, ready to unleash their sealing jutsu at any moment; the Anbu moved in front of the Third Hokage, prepared to sacrifice themselves to protect him; the Third Hokage himself couldn't help clenching his fists.

"Hey, old man Third, what are you all so nervous about? I feel absolutely fantastic!"

Kushina discovered that her strength, speed, and chakra reserves had all improved noticeably in this state.

Beating Little Brother Nobuhiko now should only take one punch, right? But he'd definitely cry for ages afterward!

Then Kushina's aura changed dramatically.

The irregular chakra surrounding her gradually took the shape of a foxlike cloak, covering her entire body and forming a tail behind her.

Now Kushina's gaze grew fiercer and more irritable. A terrifying aura spread outward from her body, making the surrounding trees sway and rustle without any wind.

Even though the Nine-Tails wasn't deliberately influencing Kushina, her emotions were still being affected.

After all, the Nine-Tails had endured a thousand years of war, hatred, and betrayal. He had long since become an embodiment of hatred, and his chakra naturally possessed that trait as well.

"Do you want to continue, Kushina?"

Watching Kushina's aura grow increasingly terrifying, the Third Hokage felt uncertain.

"You're so noisy, old man Third! What business is it of yours whether I continue?"

"Ahem, ahem, ahem. I'll stop talking."

The Third Hokage replied with an awkward laugh, his face slightly flushed.

Seeing that Kushina hadn't lost her reason and had merely become more irritable, the Third Hokage decided to watch his mouth and avoid speaking whenever possible.

After all, being loudly scolded by a teenage girl in front of so many subordinates without being able to talk back was a little more than even his thick skin could withstand.

"One more tail should be your limit. Want to try, Kushina?"

Kurama looked at Kushina with some anticipation.

"I want to know where my limit is right now. Sorry for the trouble, Senior Kurama!"

For the first time, Kushina made a solemn request of the Nine-Tails.

However irritable Kushina was outside, her conviction within the seal space was just as firm!

"All right. I'll do my best to help you control it."

"Sorry for the trouble!"

After giving the Nine-Tails a solemn bow, Kushina disappeared from the seal space and began using every ounce of her strength to control the chakra he released.

As the second tail appeared, Kushina's gaze became somewhat savage and vicious, and her aura grew even more terrifying. Her body tensed, both hands braced against the ground, ready to spring into action.

"That's enough, Kushina. Thank you for your efforts. You've already done very well. You can stop now!"

Seeing that something seemed wrong with Kushina's condition, the Third Hokage no longer cared about losing face. His sense of responsibility told him he had to stop her, or the child might suffer a very severe backlash.

The Third Hokage formed hand seals, bent down, and pressed his right hand against the ground.

"Ninja art: Summoning Technique!"

After a burst of white smoke, an upright ape with an imposing presence appeared before everyone.

"Sarutobi, has the Nine-Tails gone berserk?"

Seeing Kushina poised to erupt the moment he appeared, Enma asked worriedly.

"Hahaha, don't worry, Enma. A very talented child from the village has simply invited me to fight her."

The Third Hokage boasted to Enma with great pride.

"Transform, Enma. Let's fight one of the village's young seedlings together!"

Hearing this, Enma wasted no more words and transformed directly into the Adamantine Staff.

The Third Hokage gripped him and looked at Kushina.

"Come, Kushina! Let me test the results of your training!"

"Be careful, old man Third! Don't let me kill you with one punch!"

The corner of the Third Hokage's mouth twitched in irritation.

"Then I'll have to give it my all."

Bang.

Kushina struck first, pushing off with all four limbs, her sharp claws lunging straight for the Third Hokage's face.

The Third Hokage swung Enma hard, meeting the claws in front of him and knocking Kushina back.

Then the Third Hokage's aura changed dramatically. Like a tiger released from its cage, he chased after Kushina and swiftly swung Enma, bringing him crashing toward her head amid gusts of wind.

Kushina's gaze sharpened. Moving as nimbly as a real fox, she darted aside and dodged the powerful blow.

When his strike missed, the Third Hokage quickly pulled Enma back and swept him toward Kushina's abdomen.

Kushina pushed off the ground and leaped nimbly, spinning once in midair. After landing steadily, she rushed at the Third Hokage, trying to engage him at close range and find an opening.

Seeing this, the Third Hokage met her without the slightest fear.

The two exchanged countless rounds of blows, moving so fast that they dazzled the eye. Every exchange erupted in a deafening crash, sending dust flying as though the earth itself were trembling.

Watching from the sidelines, Nobuhiko gained his first direct sense of the Third Hokage's strength.

Kushina was certainly no weakling in her two-tailed state. In terms of taijutsu prowess alone, she was far beyond an ordinary jōnin, yet the Third Hokage handled her so easily.

Sure enough, the current Third Hokage was still in his Shinobi Hero days. Nobuhiko wasn't sure about his genjutsu, but his ninjutsu and taijutsu were definitely among the best in the Shinobi World.

The Third Hokage easily blocked every one of Kushina's attacks with Enma, while every one of his own powerful swings carried overwhelming force. Apart from the few that struck the ground, Kushina took all of them with her body.
