The newly carved myriad-world totems on the bronze railings of the Symbiosis Bridge flowed with a faint glow in the morning light. Chu Mo stood at the center of the bridge, holding Hongmeng as he watched Grand Duke Blood River of the Dark Realm and the Lord of Legal Principles of the Order Holy Land confront each other across the bridge—the former's blood spear tip condensed with a tender sprout of the Seed of Symbiosis, while the latter's scepter was entwined with the phantom of a Chaos Fire Serpent. It should have been a scene of hostility, yet it now carried an eerie balance.
"Lord Sword Master, the citizens of the Eternal Night Royal Court have contracted 'Law Disorder Syndrome' beneath the Seed of Symbiosis." Grand Duke Blood River's voice carried suppressed fury. He pulled back his sleeve, revealing intertwined golden and black markings beneath his skin. "Darkness and light are fighting inside their veins. Is this the 'symbiosis' you spoke of?"
The Lord of Legal Principles struck the bridge deck heavily with his scepter, and Order Chains automatically condensed beneath his feet. "My Wall of Legal Principles has been infiltrated by chaos, and contradictions have begun appearing in the Holy Land's divine decrees! Heaven Suppressing Saintess, you were once a guardian of order. Are you going to stand by and allow this chaos?"
Yun Che rose from beneath the bridge, holding the Time Reversal Mirror. Reflected within it were black and white fish swimming together in the waters below. "The disorder is temporary, like the itch of a healing wound. Look—" She lightly tapped the mirror's surface with a fingertip, and the markings on Grand Duke Blood River's arm suddenly transformed into butterflies beating their wings. "When darkness learns to bear the light, light will also embrace the shadow of darkness. That is true symbiosis."
Su Hanxue's World Suppressing Sword traced a taiji arc through the air. As its blade swept past the two realm lords, the conflicting laws around them automatically reconciled. "The World Creation Pen Mo Hen left behind is recording new laws upon the fragments of the Void God Realm. Every domain needs time to adapt. Just as the Sword Domain once moved from division toward symbiosis, so too do the myriad worlds need—"
Her words were abruptly cut short by a piercing shriek. At the end of the bridge, toward the Void God Realm Star, blinding ink-black light suddenly erupted. A patrolling Sword Domain Sword Guardian fell in disarray, their armor covered in "Annihilation Script" that could not heal. Chu Mo's heart shook violently. Hongmeng suddenly reached out from his arms, her fingertip touching the sword mark between his brows. Three-colored light pierced through the ink-blackness, revealing twelve phantom reverse scales floating within it.
"It's the remnant souls of the Annihilation Divine Venerable! They absorbed the ink-blackness of the Void God Realm and turned themselves into a 'script curse'!" Yun Che's Time Reversal Mirror could barely move through the darkness. For the first time, cracks that could not be reversed appeared across its surface. "These scripts will contaminate every law they touch. Even the totems of the Symbiosis Bridge are fading!"
The instant Su Hanxue's World Suppressing Sword touched the ink-blackness, a burning sensation ran through its blade. "This is bad! This darkness carries the Broken Stele Blood from the First Generation Ruins, and also... Mo Hen's World Creation Blood!" She suddenly recalled Mo Hen's last words. "The Annihilation Divine Venerable is devouring the creative power of the Void God Realm and turning it into pure scripts of destruction!"
Chu Mo stared at the enormous demonic script formed by the reverse-scale phantoms—it was the two characters for "annihilation" that the First Generation Sword Master had once written upon the broken stele, yet now they had been twisted into a black hole that devoured all things. Inspiration suddenly struck him. He drew out the World Creation Pen Mo Hen had left behind, its tip still stained with undried three-colored ink. "Do you remember the symbiosis cornerstones forged in the furnace? Every one of them bears our sword marks. Now..."
He swept the pen through the air and wrote the two characters for "coexistence" at the center of the demonic script. The moment the pen tip fell, Hongmeng suddenly spread her little hands. Her colorless pupils reflected every contaminated domain—the Seed of Symbiosis in the Dark Realm had grown thorned roses amidst the ink-blackness, while dark-gold vines coiled through the roots of the Twin Flower in the Order Holy Land. These things that should have been "flaws" now slid into the cracks of the demonic script like keys.
"So that's it..." Law God Venerable looked at the newly grown Chaos Markings on his scepter and suddenly understood. "So-called law disorder is merely old order making way for new possibilities. Like the railings of the Symbiosis Bridge, only when they are carved with the scripts of different domains can they form a complete Primordial Chaos Diagram."
Grand Duke Blood River's blood spear fell to the ground with a clang. He watched the two-colored markings on his arm gradually transform into a star map. "The citizens of the Eternal Night Royal Court always believed darkness had to devour light, yet they forgot that darkness could also become light's canvas... Sword Master, what we need is not to eliminate conflict, but to learn to dance amid it."
When the final reverse-scale phantom was shattered by the two characters for "coexistence," the crystalline pen phantom of Mo Hen suddenly appeared within the ink-blackness. With a light tap of her pen tip, a thin crack split open across the surface of the Void God Realm Star, revealing a new domain being nurtured within—a Blank Theater woven from four laws: chaos, order, creation, and annihilation. Every living being could write their own script of laws here.
"Brother Chu Mo, the furnace is resonating!" Yun Che pointed toward the distant Law Furnace and discovered twelve Law Seeds floating above it—the very ones scattered when the Annihilation Divine Venerable had collapsed. "Every seed is absorbing the 'power of conflict' from the myriad worlds and growing fruits of different colors!" Su Hanxue caught a falling silver fruit. Its surface was engraved with an image of Grand Duke Blood River and the Lord of Legal Principles shaking hands. "This is the Seed of Understanding. When followers of different laws resonate with each other, they bear fruits like this. Mo Hen was right. We do not need to create new laws. We only need to—"
"Give every law a stage for symbiosis." Chu Mo looked at Hongmeng in his arms. She was clutching the World Creation Pen in her small hand, drawing crooked streams of three-colored light in the void. Wherever the light passed, contaminated domains healed on their own. "Just like what Hongmeng is doing. She isn't repairing the laws—she is teaching them to repair themselves."
Beyond the myriad worlds, the remnant souls of the Annihilation Divine Venerable gathered beside fragments of the Annihilation Mold. They watched the reflection of Chu Mo and the others reconciling with the realm lords. The eldest remnant soul suddenly gave a cold laugh. "The First Generation Sword Master's gentleness will ultimately prove to be his weakness. The Symbiosis Law may seem inclusive, but it is fragile beyond measure—when a certain domain falls completely, when a symbiote's heart develops a crack... the so-called Path of Primordial Chaos will be nothing more than a castle on the beach."
He raised his hand. In his palm lay the final piece of Broken Stele Blood that had yet to be purified, and within it was reflected the diamond-shaped light mark between Chu Mo's brows. "Do you remember? The heart of the Chaos Sword Master still bears a hollow left behind by a demon god. When that hollow is filled with fear, when his companions turn away at the moment of choice..." The remnant soul's voice transformed into ink-blackness and seeped into the darkest corners of the myriad worlds. "The tip of annihilation's pen will forever hang above the throats of those who coexist."
Back at the Symbiosis Platform in the Sword Domain, Chu Mo watched Yun Che and Su Hanxue play with Hongmeng and suddenly noticed that the sword marks between their brows had developed a subtle difference in frequency with their heart cores—a sign that the laws within the three of them were evolving on their own. What concerned him even more was that upon the shaft of the World Creation Pen, the originally blurred fourth Shallow Mark now clearly revealed the silhouette of a young girl writing.
"Hanxue, Yun Che," Chu Mo suddenly said, his gaze turning toward the Blank Theater being born beyond the Sword Domain, "if one day, the Symbiosis Law requires us to make a choice—for example, sacrificing one person's laws to preserve the myriad worlds..."
"That day will never come." Su Hanxue interrupted him, lightly touching the mark on his chest with the World Suppressing Sword. "Mother taught us to embrace chaos with her sword tassel. Mo Hen told us to write possibilities with the World Creation Pen. And you..." She looked at Yun Che running along the River of Laws while holding Hongmeng's hand. "You let us understand that true bonds are not sacrifice. They are like heart cores—always leaving one another a place for symbiosis."
Yun Che suddenly ran back, the Time Reversal Mirror reflecting the first three-colored light butterfly Hongmeng had condensed. "Brother Chu Mo, look! Little Hongmeng is writing wings for the light butterflies! Every butterfly has different law markings on its wings, yet they can fly together in the same direction—this is our future, isn't it?"
Chu Mo smiled, his fingers brushing over the four-petaled sword mark between Hongmeng's brows. In the distance, the flames of the Law Furnace suddenly transformed into a soaring phoenix. Amid its cry, the Rivers of Laws in every domain rippled with resonance. He knew the threat of annihilation had never truly vanished, but just as the furnace could forge destruction into creation, they too could make every conflict an opportunity for the Symbiosis Law to evolve.
As dusk shrouded the Sword Domain, the three sat at the edge of the Symbiosis Platform and watched Hongmeng use the World Creation Pen to draw stars in the sky for the first time. Some of those stars were dark-gold chaos, some gleaming-gold order, yet together they illuminated the night sky of the Primordial Chaos Era. Chu Mo suddenly understood the true meaning behind the First Generation Sword Master cleaving apart chaos. It was not to create opposition, but to grant every living being the right to choose, so that every law could find its own light in symbiosis.
The wind carried whispers from the Void God Realm Star. They were the first line Mo Hen had written in the new domain: "When the first symbiote learns to sing amid chaos, the shadow of annihilation is destined to be scattered by that song. For true strength has never lain in the sharpness of a blade, but in the gentleness of the one who holds it and is willing to dance with the world."
Beneath their feet, the River of Laws continued to flow, carrying the stories of the myriad worlds toward an unknown distance. And Chu Mo, Yun Che, Su Hanxue, and the growing Hongmeng would eventually carry their faith in symbiosis and write, upon the grand scroll of the Primordial Chaos Era, a chapter of bonds and hope more eternal than the stars.
