Shin'yu VS Kurama

The Black Arrow was swift as wind and thunder. The Nine-Tails only felt itself blink, and the sharp arrowhead was already before its eyes.

It swiped a claw at the Black Arrow, but it had clearly underestimated its power!

With a wet splat, the Black Arrow pierced through the Nine-Tails' claw, entered its body through the shoulder, and burst into a cloud of blood mist.

"Explode!" Shin'yu snapped his fingers.

The Black Arrow suddenly detonated. The densely compressed Amaterasu Black Flames were unleashed within the Nine-Tails' body, flooding through it like a river flowing in reverse. The raging black fire swept wildly through everything, madly destroying every part of the Nine-Tails!

Flesh and blood, meridians, bones... all melted away at an astonishing rate. Amid horrifying sizzling sounds, the Nine-Tails crashed to the ground, howling and rolling about as thick black smoke even poured from its mouth and ears.

A bloody hole had been torn through its claw, and the black fire quickly spread to its chest. Yet the most agonizing damage was still the damage inside its body!

The Nine-Tails opened its jaws, spewing out a dark crimson Chakra Cannon mixed with black flames. It wanted to force the black flames out of its body this way, while waves of Chakra surged from its surface to strip away the flames outside.

How could Shin'yu let it resolve the crisis so easily? He immediately formed Hand Seals, and amid a flash of Black Qi, the second form of Susanoo descended in an instant.

He controlled Susanoo as it pounced forward, its two thick arms locking tightly around the Nine-Tails' neck while its other two arms swung their fists, raining savage blows onto the Nine-Tails' face.

For a time, dull thuds rang out without end.

The Energy Emission was immediately cut off, replaced by the Nine-Tails' broken roars.

"Aoo!"

"Awoo~"

The brutal scene made even Lord Madara Cannot help but raise a hand to his forehead.

"So... this is how Susanoo is used..."

Madara paused slightly and hurriedly glanced to the side, only to see Uchiha Hikari staring at the battle below with shining Eyes, her little Hands unconsciously clasped before her chest.

The Nine-Tails' ability to withstand blows exceeded all imagination. With a thought from Shin'yu, Susanoo clenched one hand in the air and formed a strangely shaped black blade.

He took the opportunity to swing it. The blade light turned into a crescent black moon that swept outward, but the Nine-Tails suddenly lowered its body and evaded it. The Forest behind it was completely leveled.

It fooled Shin'yu with a feint, then took the chance to turn its cannon toward him and blasted him with a passionate Atomic Breath!

Tailed Beast energy became a thick, straight laser beam that completely engulfed even Susanoo!

The earth trembled, plants and trees turned to ash, and the landscape before them was instantly wiped clean.

In the Nine-Tails' Eyes, the black giant had also been Devoured by the Light, rapidly collapsing. It could not help increasing its energy output.

Though this was not a Tailed Beast Ball, such an immense and violent energy breath still carried the destructive force of a natural disaster!

How could a mortal body withstand it?

The Nine-Tails successfully stripped away the final trace of Amaterasu flames, but its body had visibly withered and thinned.

Unexpectedly, Shin'yu stood ramrod straight within the Chakra Cannon, walking forward step by step against the torrent!

"How is this brat doing it?!" The Nine-Tails was stunned, its vertical pupils shrinking to pinpoints.

Since its birth, aside from that man, this was the first time it had ever seen such a monster!

What answered it was a low, chant-like voice.

"Third Gate of Life, open..."

"Fourth Gate of Injury, open..."

"Fifth Gate of Limit, open!"

Of course, it did not know that not long ago, Shin'yu's Mahoraga had adapted to its Chakra. Though it had failed to fully analyze it, it had gained sufficient resistance.

"Boom!!!"

Shin'yu leaped high into the air, his vicious uppercut slamming into the Nine-Tails' jaw and forcing its mouth shut. The powerful Shockwave actually knocked it over where it stood!

The Nine-Tails lost its head and rushed over with bloodshot Eyes to fight him. Man and beast traded savage blows, their primal, feral battle unfolding amid the chaotic Forest.

Shin'yu's entire body was flushed with blood. Green energy coiled around him as rolling heat poured from his body. The strength behind every punch and kick was incomprehensible, enough to batter the Nine-Tails about like a rag doll.

As a Tailed Beast, the Nine-Tails displayed extraordinary resilience. Though it looked miserable, it had not suffered much real damage. Instead, it was provoked into greater savagery, becoming ever more vicious.

Relying on its long and numerous tails, it caught Shin'yu off guard and sent him flying far away with one strike!

Fortunately, he summoned Susanoo's skeleton at the very instant the attack landed!

"So heavy!" Shin'yu's Eyes widened in surprise.

That tail sweep was devastatingly powerful. His black ribs shattered outright, and the mountain-toppling force penetrated his body, making his organs quake violently!

With a whoosh, his entire body tore through the air trailing Black Qi and shot straight into a distant cliff face.

The Nine-Tails opened its jaws and aimed toward Shin'yu from afar. A heavy, immense aura flowed around it as red and blue Chakra gathered before its mouth, rapidly forming a purple-black liquid sphere.

The instant the sphere appeared, even the air in the Forest seemed to freeze.

This was its trump card: the Tailed Beast Ball.

It intended to end the battle once and for all.

Yet before it could finish charging, the sky suddenly darkened, as if covered by an enormous shadow. It hurriedly looked up, and its gaze froze!

Reflected in its vertical pupils was a Crow Tengu Susanoo as large as a small mountain! And the brat who had been sent flying only a second ago had somehow appeared inside Susanoo without any warning!

"Damn it! When did he..."

It had no idea why Shin'yu had suddenly appeared above its head, much less that it was actually where Shin'yu had stood five seconds earlier.

Susanoo clasped both Hands together, Black Qi winding around them as it descended from the sky holding an enormous spear. With a wet splat, it pierced through the Nine-Tails' body and nailed it ruthlessly to the ground.

The divine weapon, Totsuka-no-Tsurugi!

The Nine-Tails' Tailed Beast Ball was interrupted midway.

It planted all four claws against the ground and struggled to rise. The strength of a Tailed Beast was indeed terrifying. Third-form Susanoo was already a colossal creature in the eyes of ordinary people, yet the Nine-Tails still made it sway as if it might topple over at any moment.

Shin'yu activated the Gravity Magic Array within Totsuka-no-Tsurugi. Twenty times Gravity suddenly crashed down, and the Nine-Tails was slammed into the ground amid booming rumbles!

"Damn it! What is... this..."

Its face was buried deep in the earth, its enormous body seemingly embedded into the ground. It could not even lift its head, and even its two fox ears were forced to droop.

"You're a little more obedient now."

Shin'yu revealed a wicked smile. Susanoo's Big Hand gave the spear shaft a slight twist, and a cluster of burning black flames immediately traveled down the spear. Amaterasu was injected into the Nine-Tails' body once more!

The bone-searing, heart-burning pain forced the Nine-Tails to open its jaws and let out a humiliated, agonized howl.

"Damn brat... How dare you look down on this old man!!!"

To break free of Gravity's restraint, the Nine-Tails gathered all its Chakra and released it at maximum output!

A massive Light beam shot into the sky. A hurricane howled as it expanded, sand and stone shattered, and swathes of Forest were obliterated by the light waves. The roaring beam rapidly transformed into an incomparably enormous ball of Light, illuminating the daytime world brilliantly.

The storm destroyed everything. Shockwaves spread into the distance, leaving not a blade of grass wherever they passed and shattering mountains and rocks alike.

Uchiha Hikari stared blankly with wide Eyes as dazzling white Light filled her entire vision and her hair whipped wildly in the wind. In the instant she froze, Madara stepped in front of her, and an Azure Blue Susanoo skeleton enveloped them both.

"Lord Madara..."

Below, the Light slowly faded, revealing the scene within.

The first thing they saw was Shin'yu's Susanoo. Yet the half-bodied giant had now regressed to its second form, half its body's Flesh and Blood gone, wavering Black Qi hanging from it as the skeleton Inside was clearly exposed.

Shin'yu stood Inside Susanoo, breathing heavily. Blood seeped from his eye sockets and slowly ran down his handsome cheeks.

Even so, his smile did not fade. He looked somewhat crazed.

Because the Nine-Tails across from him looked even worse!

The Nine-Tails, once brimming with vitality and covered in lustrous fur, was now skin and bones, shriveled and dry, as though its body had been hollowed out.

But the fury in its Eyes had reached its peak. It glared viciously at Shin'yu, its eyes nearly splitting apart as it longed to pounce on him and tear him to pieces!

Something called reason was about to be completely obliterated.

Shin'yu's right eye turned slightly, and his condition quietly recovered. What he had been waiting for was precisely the instant it completely fell into rage.

"Grrr—"

Heavy Chakra slowly gathered as the Nine-Tails impatiently began forming a Tailed Beast Ball.

But it immediately shut its mouth, because a huge Tomoe flew toward it even faster, like a Pitch Black bolt of lightning. Had it not dodged in time, its teeth would likely have exploded into fragments like the rocks behind it.

"I won't let you use that move."

Shin'yu grinned wickedly as Susanoo's four palms slowly spread apart, forming a chain of Yasaka Magatama.

The Nine-Tails flew into a rage and instead unleashed faster energy breaths at Shin'yu. Shin'yu did not hesitate either. He formed a Hand Seal with both Hands, and Susanoo stood firm as a mountain, directly controlling the Tomoe to trade volleys with the Nine-Tails!

Man and beast both looked utterly deranged, as if they had truly fought themselves into a frenzy.

Yet only the Nine-Tails was truly insane. Shin'yu appeared to have lost his mind, but in truth, he was steady as ever.

Mahoraga's Magic Array pattern had been quietly operating for a long time.

The target he had chosen for adaptation was the Nine-Tails' Chakra, and he had already gained a certain degree of resistance. His Yasaka Magatama contained some indescribable energy that could deal effective damage specifically to the Nine-Tails.

In the coming exchange of attacks, he would further accelerate his adaptation based on the energy fired at him, until he analyzed a killing blow capable of deciding the battle in one strike!

Scorched smoke was scattered by the gale, and the ground was a complete mess.

"The battle actually reached this point..." Hikari looked down nervously. Even she could not help worrying. "Will Shin'yu... be in danger?"

Uchiha Madara watched for a while, seeming to see through something. He snorted in understanding.

"Lord Madara, how much longer are they going to fight?"

"Don't worry. It'll be over soon."

"What?" Hikari looked at the calm Madara in confusion. "How do you know, Lord Madara?"

"When has that guy ever taken more than five minutes to finish a battle?"

Soon, the Light went out. Hikari knew the battle had already been decided.

Only rolling smoke remained across the entire battlefield.

"Boom, boom, boom..."

The ground shook. Clearly, some colossal being was approaching them step by step.

Hikari immediately tensed up.

When the sound stopped before them, a huge fox face emerged from the smoke and looked down at the two of them.

"It's the Nine-Tails!" Uchiha Hikari took a small step back, instantly As if facing a great enemy.

"Don't panic." Madara's voice remained calm.

At that moment, the Nine-Tails slowly lowered its head. Sitting loosely atop its head was a Youth.

Only then did Hikari notice that the Nine-Tails' two red vertical pupils had somehow turned into the shape of Three-Tomoe Sharingan!

Shin'yu propped one hand on his knee, one leg dangling from the Nine-Tails' forehead. His torn black clothes and the blood at the corner of his mouth could not conceal his sharp, imposing presence—or that faintly wicked smile.

He looked at Madara and reached up to wipe the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"I have not failed your trust."
