"Mining? Then we..." Qian Yuqi asked in shock from behind Li Changsheng.

Xiong Ba grinned. "Of course you don't have to. The mines they work in belong to our Demon Sect. They're serving as slaves for our Demon Sect for three years! The Sect Master said that no ascender from Cangwu Continent needs to become a slave."

"What?" Everyone was astonished.

Those who had ascended alongside them but did not belong to the Demon Sect all felt fortunate that they had come from Cangwu Continent. Otherwise, wouldn't they have had to spend three years as slaves too?

But they all thought to themselves that the Demon Sect had gained such great authority after only three years in the Upper Realm. It was probably one of the leading factions in Black King City!

Before their imaginations could run further, Li Changsheng asked, "How powerful is our Demon Sect in the Upper Realm now?"

"Lord Changsheng, let's talk as we go. The Demon Sect's headquarters isn't in Black King City, but on Heavenly Demon Peak outside the city!"

"The city beneath our feet is Black King City. Its jurisdiction covers over ten million kilometers, comparable to more than half of Cangwu Continent." Before the others could express their surprise, Xiong Ba continued, "Our Demon Sect currently possesses four cities like Black King City!"

The others no longer knew what to say. Even the normally composed Li Changsheng parted his lips slightly, but ultimately said nothing. The two looked at the Demon Tiger King curiously. This was different from looking at Xiong Ba, whom they did not know.
