Zhou Qiong strengthened the Demon Sect, destroyed Golden Mountain Temple and Hanging Void Hall, and launched a campaign to conquer the Cangwu Continent. After learning about the Upper Realm and its harsh terms for ascenders, he prepared to build his power before leading his followers there.

• Zhou Qiong ordered the Demon Sect to destroy the Jade Dragon Sword Sect, then expanded the sect’s strength and led its forces to the East Sea, where he killed Luna after she awakened beneath a sealed hill.
• Zhou Qiong sent the Profound Division to investigate Golden Mountain Temple, then ordered Liansheng to lead an assault that destroyed the temple and killed its abbot, Wuwu.
• Zhao Li found the temple’s slaughtered monks and entered the Sword God’s tomb, while Zhou Qiong’s forces surrounded and attacked Hanging Void Hall.
• Zhou Qiong arrived at Hanging Void Mountain, defeated Ximen Tian and Daoist Chongxu, and ordered Liansheng to finish the battle, and the Demon Sect destroyed Hanging Void Hall and received system rewards.
• Ximen Di was swept through spatial turbulence into the Upper Realm, where an armored leader assigned ascenders to serve the Blue Rain Clan unless they had powerful family connections.
• Zhou Qiong learned how to reopen the ascension passage and accepted a mission to dominate the Cangwu Continent, then told the Demon Sect about the Upper Realm and secured his followers’ pledges.
• Zhou Qiong ordered Liansheng to subdue the remaining factions within a year and summoned senior members back in batches to cultivate, and Bai Haotian used phoenix flames to break through to Martial God.

Zhou Qiong led the Demon Sect into the Upper Realm, seized Black King City, and expanded the sect through conquest across the Land of Chaos. The arc ended with Zhou Qiong departing to explore newly opened Half-Saint ruins while Bai Haotian oversaw the sect.

• King Yu killed himself rather than submit to Liansheng, and Liansheng ordered his hidden son killed and buried with him.
• Zhou Qiong completed the unification mission, announced the Demon Sect’s planned ascension, and later led its members through the stone stele into the Upper Realm.
• Lanyu Wu and Long Chang confronted the ascenders, but Zhou Qiong defeated Long Chang’s attack and teleported the Demon Sect away from Black King City.
• Zhou Qiong established Heavenly Demon Peak, attended Elder Mu’s birthday celebration, and qualified for the Kongtong Secret Realm.
• Zhou Qiong killed Asura Xueqi, reached the fifth layer of the Eternal Realm, and helped Liansheng defeat Qian Sihai and the Ghost Clan leader in the secret realm.
• Elder Mu submitted to Zhou Qiong, Black King City came under the Demon Sect’s control, and the Sword Sect relocated to Yang City after Zhou Qiong’s warning.
• Zhou Qiong destroyed Heavenly Sea City after Hong Tu refused to submit, and the Demon Sect expanded further as factions surrendered in Desolate Mountain City and Lishui City.
• Li Changsheng reopened the ascension passage, welcomed new arrivals to Heavenly Demon Peak, and Zhou Qiong departed with Liansheng and the Demon Kings to investigate the Half-Saint ruins.
