Hello, everyone. I'm Kinosuke Naito.
This is volume four. Four volumes out already. That makes me so happy.
Still, not much changed in this volume. No, there were a lot of changes, so perhaps I should say the changes were small? But that's Farming Life in Another World. If anything, it would be strange for something major to happen. That wouldn't be leisurely, after all. Let's take it easy.
The same things repeat every year. That's how it should be. Repetitive? Old hat? I don't mind.
Now, please allow me to change the subject. In this afterword, I'd like to tell you readers how to correct typos and missing characters in books. I don't mean just this book, but all books.
First, let's suppose you've found a typo or a missing character. Don't panic, don't rush. Start by looking it up in a dictionary to confirm whether it really is a typo or a missing character. Even if you find yourself thinking, "That's obviously a typo or a missing character, no matter how you look at it," look it up anyway. It will help you calm down.
Once you've confirmed beyond any doubt that it's a typo or a missing character, buy another copy of the same book. Yes, buy the book. Then look for characters you can use to fix the typo or omission. That's right, the new copy is there for you to take characters from.
Some people might ask, why not just print them out with a printer? I understand. If you can use a printer, that's fine too. Though personally, I'd prefer it if you bought another copy.
Once you've found characters you can use for the repair, paste them over the mistake or omission. If they won't fit, paste them beside it.
And with that, you've made a one-of-a-kind book that's yours alone! Isn't that wonderful? What if it's an e-book? Please wait for the author and editor to correct it. That's all.
Huh? Why not just write it in with a pen... That's another way to do it, hahaha.
Of course, it would be best if there were no typos or missing characters, but you never know what might happen.
I'd like to apologize to everyone here. I'm sorry. What am I apologizing for, you ask? Please don't worry about it. Yes, you mustn't worry about it.
Finally, to my editor, who helped me with this volume as well, everyone responsible for proofreading and copyediting, Yasumo, who provided the illustrations, Tsurugi, who drew the manga adaptation, and you or you, who picked up this book. The world of Farming Life in Another World wasn't created by me alone; it was created by all of us together.
I look forward to your continued support.
Well then, I pray I'll be able to see you all again in the next volume. Please excuse me as I take my leave.
