• Chen Nian and Zhao Yixue found Heart Moon Well in a peaceful patch of forest and waited beside it for nightfall.
• When the crescent moon lit the well, the Black Calamity stopped outside an unseen barrier, and the pair realized the moonlight forced their inner thoughts into speech.
• Zhao Yixue teased Chen Nian with personal questions, got him to kiss her, and learned that he liked her even though Su Jinyu was the girl he loved most.
