Background and History

Family and Awakening

Lu Fang grew up in a wealthy Jiang City household. His parents, Lu Tianxiong and Su Qingyu, founded the Fangfang Chamber of Commerce and occupied two of the city’s three guardian positions, known as the Three Pillars. Both were powerhouses above level 400 1 30.

Despite his comfortable upbringing, Lu Fang wanted personal strength rather than lifelong dependence on his family. Before awakening, he consistently outperformed Wang Yixing in academics, sports, and even the number of love letters they received 1.

His initial Minor Moneybags class disappointed him, but its temporary talent offered a five-minute opportunity to purchase greater class potential. After exhausting his savings, he called his father for money and ultimately reached the unique God of Wealth class. He subsequently kept his class’s identity confidential 3 4 5.

Initial Dungeon and Blood Wolf Association Attack

Lu Fang cleared all fifteen Initial Dungeon stages and chose to enter the dangerous Asura Hidden Stage rather than settle for a guaranteed SSS result. After defeating the level-50 Hell Demon General, he received doubled rewards, including diamond-grade exclusive equipment. His recorded completion time was 1 minute, 17 seconds 8 9 13.

When the Blood Wolf Association attacked the school, he deployed ten Money Ghosts to protect the teachers and students. Working with the principal and vice principal, he killed the level-115 bald leader, survived an assassin’s lethal attack, and eliminated the remaining assassin and curse witch 16 17 18 19.

He refused to let the principal shoulder all responsibility, explaining that the attackers had targeted him and Wang Yixing because of their parents’ old feud. He later suggested that the enemy’s knowledge of the Three Pillars’ secret deployment indicated a spy among Jiang City’s senior officials 19 22.

Search for His Parents

Ji Xiuneng informed Lu Fang that his parents and the third Pillar had disappeared into a spatial storm at the Abyssal Rift front. Frontline regulations classified them as killed in action because no one swallowed by such a storm had returned. Lu Fang rejected that conclusion without recovered bodies and vowed to reach level 200 so he could search for them himself 24.

He began repeatedly soloing Hell-difficulty dungeons, reaching level 100 six days after awakening. His rapid growth attracted Heavenly Dragon’s attention, while Jiang Xia and Uncle Jiang worried that his determination was driving him to exhaustion 29 31 35.

First Class Advancement

Lu Fang’s first advancement quest, Gather Wealth, required him to earn 10 million Dragon Coins within 24 hours. Existing assets, gifts, and outside assistance were prohibited; an SSS rating required earnings above 500 million 36.

He exploited his summons’ ability to enter separate dungeons, running eleven dungeons simultaneously: ten through Money Ghosts and one personally. After more than twenty hours of farming, he submitted materials for 3,251 purchase quests and sold another large haul to his family’s chamber 38 40 41.

The material sale paid 350 million Dragon Coins, while quest settlements paid another 227.639 million. These earnings secured Jiang City’s first SSS-rated first class advancement and transformed his class into One-Star God of Wealth 41 42 48.

Taking Control of the Fangfang Chamber of Commerce

Following his parents’ disappearance, senior executives attempted to sideline Lu Fang through an interim management committee and outside protection arrangements. As the chamber’s legal heir and designated largest shareholder, he challenged everyone who opposed his authority to fight him five days later 30 31 33.

At headquarters, one Money Ghost defeated the level-150 Zhou Yue with a restrained punch. Lu Fang then forced four level-200 executives—Chen Guangmao, Lin Man, Wu Zhao, and Shen Qinghan—to concede, securing control of the chamber 45 48.

He reclaimed decision-making authority and the opposing executives’ shares, severed the chamber’s ties with named ringleaders including Chen Guangmao and Lin Man, and retained other experienced personnel to keep the business functioning. He entrusted daily oversight to Uncle Jiang so he could concentrate on becoming stronger 49 50.

Heavenly Dragon’s Invitation

Heavenly Dragon monitored Lu Fang from the time he killed a Blood Wolf Association member. His handling of the chamber dispute completed its assessment, leading Lu Chen and Fu Yun to approach him with a formal recruitment offer 49 50.

Lu Fang did not immediately agree: his priority remained leveling quickly and finding his parents. The recruiters argued that Heavenly Dragon could provide faster leveling opportunities than Jiang City’s limited high-level dungeons 50.

Appearance

  • Face and coloring: Young and handsome, with black hair, dark eyes, and a habitually calm expression 1 17.
  • Hands: Initially described as pale and uncalloused, reflecting his wealthy upbringing 1.
  • Clothing: Wears a school uniform early in the story and a simple black combat uniform when confronting the chamber’s leadership 1 44.
  • Demeanor: Frequently stands with his hands in his pockets; returns from the Initial Dungeon without dust or disarray on his clothes 7 10.

Personality

Lu Fang is composed and self-assured, often answering provocation with minimal words rather than anger. Wang Yixing’s boasting rarely unsettles him, and he remains calm under both lethal attack and the combined aura pressure of high-level class holders 3 18 45.

His ambition is rooted in independence and family loyalty. His parents’ disappearance deeply shakes him, but he channels his grief into a concrete search plan and intensive leveling. He recognizes Jiang Xia and Uncle Jiang’s concern, insisting that he remains clearheaded and will rest when necessary 1 24 25 31.

He combines decisiveness with restraint. He acknowledges the school’s suffering rather than claiming sole credit for saving it, and after defeating the chamber’s leadership, he prioritizes retaining a functioning business over indiscriminate retaliation 19 49.
