Approximately 1.4 million years before the main story, the Immortal Palace’s first-generation directors established a foothold on the Eastern Divine Continent. They recognized the limitations of single-path cultivation and promoted complementary development in body, spell arts, sword, and soul cultivation. Its founding director, a Jingfu University alumnus, exemplified this all-round approach and used it to establish the organization’s foundations 9 11.

Before the Immortal Palace’s establishment, the Netherworld Ghost Domain had conquered half the land. Under the first-generation directors, the Immortal Palace reversed those losses and established the Nine Provinces as its base 20.

Ten thousand years before the main story, the Immortal Palace forced a war against the Netherworld Ghost Domain, devastated half its territory, and drove it into the Savage Wilderness. The Netherworld survived with support from the Freedom Divine Domain 20.

By the opening of the story, in Immortal Palace calendar year 1433223, the organization maintained standardized cultivation facilities, a regulated Spirit Root allocation system, and a comprehensive higher-education network 1.

• Authority: The Council of Twelve Speakers is the highest decision-making body, responsible for matters ranging from foreign wars to regulatory changes 31.

Xuzhou Border Incident

While stabilizing Chen Fan’s transforming spiritual sea, Jiang Qingyuan manifested Mahayana power above Xuzhou. Netherworld border commander Tianzhao Mingyin challenged her presence and invoked the border agreement and Freedom Divine Domain backing. Jiang killed him with a single strike and ordered the surviving Netherworld leaders to withdraw 20 21.

Both sides suppressed the incident. The Immortal Palace classified it as routine border deterrence, while the Netherworld avoided publicizing its defeat 22.
