Jiang Yantian reunited with Yan Miaoxi and brought her into his household before setting out to find Su Lanyi. After Chen Zheng’s disastrous first encounter with her, Jiang Yantian gained an audience with Su Lanyi and began using The Plum in the Golden Vase to discuss their Dao paths.

• Ye Hong accepted Jiang Yantian’s rule, and Jiang Yantian agreed to arrange his marriage to Ye Hong’s younger brother before inspecting the Ancient Demon Domain with Mei Yanluo and Beiming Yu.
• Yan Miaoxi learned that Jiang Yantian had taken the Void Heavenly Palace and renamed it the Ancient Demon Domain, so she canceled her planned attack and led the War Ruins Royal Clan to congratulate him.
• Jiang Yantian embraced Yan Miaoxi, revealed that he had recognized her as Brother Yan from their first meeting, and reunited her with Mei Yanluo and Beiming Yu as his wives.
• Chen Zheng reported that Su Lanyi was in the Ancient Domain of Myriad Spirits, then entered the Ancient Ruins of Life Origin with Zhou Shan, Old Wang, and Luo Ming.

Jiang Yantian used a marketplace dispute with Wang Teng to guide Su Lanyi’s understanding of the Dao and draw the Yuanhao Immortal Sect into the conflict. After Qiong Yu condemned Wang Teng and sent him to confinement, he began cultivating the demonic manual he found there.

• Jiang Yantian drew Su Lanyi into a staged discussion of affection and the Dao, and his ordinary conduct in Life Origin Heavenly City helped her break through in her Dao heart.
• At his fish stall, Jiang Yantian provoked Wang Teng into attacking him, then won the crowd’s support as Wang Teng’s fellow disciples condemned his behavior.
• Lu Jinglan brought Jiang Yantian and Wang Teng to the Yuanhao Immortal Sect, where Qiong Yu recognized Jiang Yantian and felt an unexplained pull toward him.

Jiang Yantian secretly drove Wang Teng into demonic cultivation and watched him lose the sect’s trust before trapping him in a humiliating punishment. He then turned his attention to Su Lanyi, whose sudden memories and defensive outburst left him injured and invited into her residence.

• Xie Wanwan pursued Jiang Yantian while he recovered, and Lu Jinglan discovered them before Xie Wanwan revealed Qiong Yu’s dream of the Imperishable Devil Emperor.
• Lu Jinglan left to seek guidance, while Wang Teng cultivated demonic arts in confinement and Jiang Yantian intensified his power and malice with origin Devil Qi.
• Wang Teng broke out of the Confinement Pavilion and attacked the elders, but Qiong Yu stopped him and decided to suppress him beneath Upside-Down Mountain.
• Lu Jinglan exposed Wang Teng’s past theft of a cave-abode legacy, while Jiang Yantian’s pill caused Wang Teng to foul the gathering and fill his sealed area with sludge.

He then confronted Wang Teng, blundered into Lu Jinglan’s private moments, and met Qiong Yu, whose questions and aching sense of recognition left their connection unresolved.
