Zhou Piaoling died after Yang Xiao publicly humiliated her, and Jiang Yantian ended the arc staying with Gu Qingfei while Qiong Yu discovered the remains of her spirit fox beneath her bedding.

• Lin Xuan and Chu Fan fought over Xiao Yi until Jiang Yantian intervened, defeated Chu Fan, and left him despairing.
• Jiang Yantian traveled to the Cloud Heaven Sect and confronted Yang Xiao during Qiong Yu’s Dao lecture, where the Immortal-Ending Sword rampaged through the disciples.

Jiang Yantian tormented Yang Xiao, imprisoned Qiong Yu, and destroyed the Cloud Heaven Sect before returning to the village. There he found Xiao Yi running a profitable tourist business, reunited with Sheng Xianxian, and watched Chu Fan and Lin Xuan turn their brawl into a paid performance.

• Qiong Yu traced the spirit fox’s death to Yang Xiao, decided to expel him, and later ended their master-disciple bond after he defiled the sect’s water source.
• Jiang Yantian exposed Yang Xiao at a sect banquet, then assaulted Qiong Yu and kept her confined while Yang Xiao faced punishment and accusations of stealing the Immortal-Ending Sword.
• Jiang Yantian revealed that he had engineered Yang Xiao’s misfortunes, including Zhou Piaoling’s fate, and vowed to kill everyone in the Cloud Heaven Sect.
• When Gong Ning and two senior disciples attacked him, Jiang Yantian cut them apart and fused their bodies, then left Qiong Yu imprisoned and returned to Gu Qingfei.

The stretch ended with Nan Tianxin trying to learn Jiang Yantian’s fishing method because she needed his help with the Void Spirit Realm’s great tribulation.

• Xiao Yi turned Chu Fan and Lin Xuan’s fight into a paid performance, while Jiang Yantian praised her work and appointed her his number one gold digger.
