| Constitution Berserk — D-rank | 47 | Repeated Constitution Enhancement extractions from giant elephants succeed after an initial failure. All four basic attribute-related talents have now reached D-rank. |
Abilities & Skills
Activation and Targeting
- Qin Feng activates the talent by touching a target with his hand; successful uses produce white light 2 3.
- Its system description states that it can extract from “any target,” although individual targets have extraction limits 2 3.
- Demonstrated targets include weapons, human corpses, beast corpses, an evil entity’s corpse, and spirit herbs 2 3 7 18.
- A human corpse recovered from a snake’s stomach still yields a talent 6.
Talent Acquisition and Evolution
- Extracted talents become Qin Feng’s own abilities, beginning with Wang Qiang’s Strength Berserk 3.
- Repeated acquisition of the same talent can stack and trigger evolution, but success is not guaranteed. Duplicate smell, darkness, and constitution talents each produce failed evolution attempts 6 14 39 47.
- Extracting a superior version can directly advance an existing talent, as with E-rank Speed Enhancement becoming D-rank Speed Super Enhancement 18.
- When a corpse’s talent is weaker than Qin Feng’s existing version, extraction can yield random attribute points instead. A woman with F-rank Vision Enhancement provides agility because he already possesses E-rank Vision Super Enhancement 14.
- Talent evolution can awaken a skill, but the stated probability is low; Eye of True Sight is one successful example 6.
Attribute Extraction
- Corpses can supply permanent attribute increases without Qin Feng having killed the target himself 3 21.
- Ordinary level 1 beasts yield two attribute points per successful extraction. Documented examples include strength from Bloodfang Rabbits, agility from Gnawing Giant Rats, and energy from Venomous Nine-Ringed Snakes 3 4 5 6.
- Mutated beasts provide larger returns in the early encounters: the Silverback Gray Wolf yields three agility points, while three mutated beasts in the hidden valley yield nine points altogether 12 18.
- Extracted energy attribute points are distinct from the energy awarded for kills toward leveling; Qin Feng receives both separately after killing the Gnawing Giant Rat 4.
Equipment Refinement
- Removes rust and residue from a tier 0 Beginner Short Blade, transforming it into a tier 1 Fine Steel Blade 2.
- The refinement raises the weapon’s attack bonus from +2 to +5 2.
- The process is repeatable on other beginner blades, allowing Qin Feng to refurbish weapons for trade 3 22.
Spirit Herb Essence Extraction
- Extracts consumable essence from spirit plants. Red Python Grass essence grants two constitution points when swallowed 7.
- Extracting elderberry produces a small quantity of milky-white spiritual liquid and causes the plant to wither and die 19.
- Qin Feng uses extracted essences from edible herbs to raise his attributes rather than reserving those herbs for pill refinement 18 19.
Limitations
| Restriction | Documented Effect |
|---|---|
| One extraction per target below level 20 | A second attempt on the same Bloodfang Rabbit fails after its first successful extraction 3. |
| Three extractions per beast species | A fourth corpse of the same species provides no further benefit; mutated beasts are also subject to this limit 5 39. |
| Target quality limits refinement | The newly refined Fine Steel Blade cannot be improved again because its quality is too low and its extraction limit has been reached 2. |
| Evolution can fail | Successfully extracting a duplicate talent does not guarantee a rank increase 14 39 47. |
History and Usage
Qin Feng awakens Endless Extraction shortly after arriving in Novice Village No. 911. He conceals its rank because he fears attracting hostility while still weak. After discovering equipment refinement, talent acquisition, and attribute extraction, he follows other hunting teams’ routes to collect corpses. Once he exhausts the available level 1 beast species, he leaves the Beginner Plains to find new targets 1 2 3 5 9.
The trading channel later lets him obtain extraction targets without hunting them personally. He exchanges roasted meat for beast corpses and beginner weapons, acquiring twenty-one level 2 corpses and four sabers within an hour. Bulk extraction raises his combat assessment to nine stars, while refurbished Fine Steel Blades become another trade good. As species reach their extraction limits, he stops buying them and requests higher-level corpses or specific remaining species 21 22 34 35.
Extraction also helps him overcome advancement requirements. Outside the Lost Village, repeated hound extractions grant D-rank Darkness Manipulation, satisfying the talent requirement for his promotion to level 2 Judge and awakening Hellfire through its interaction with Flame Manipulation 39.
