Ace returned from the underground city and investigated the fortress as the legion hunted wizard apprentices and the Dark Clergy prepared a ritual. He built a path to advance apprentices, while Bayern joined their circle and Ace uncovered how the clergy had infiltrated the fortress.

• Ace battled Hercules in the underground city, destroyed his body with the performance hall’s traps and Soul Burst array, and escaped with a severed finger as Hercules’s soul was carried away by the black blade.
• Ace reached Mount Baal, learned that the legion was exterminating wizard apprentices, and sent warnings as Daina led surviving apprentices in guerrilla attacks.
• Ace investigated the fortress, relocated his laboratory, and created a mirror image while Mirror Ace searched for the missing Jeanne and found signs of Dark Clergy activity.
• Bayern took York’s identity, developed water spells and lesser rune techniques, then joined the apprentices’ gathering and earned their respect through mathematics and enchantment research.
• Ace and Mirror Ace derived a Water Element Soul Rune and built a nourishing array, while Ace developed and tested the Advanced Apprentice Promotion Guidance Technique on his avatar.
• Ace’s avatar completed the ritual, opened the Soul Secret Treasury Space, and advanced to become an Advanced Wizard Apprentice.
• Ace and his duplicate captured the bald, scar-faced priest, and Ace learned that a witch and the Great Leader’s powder had helped the Dark Clergy evade detection as their grand ritual neared completion.

Ace led the wizard apprentices out of the Northern Frontier as the Dark Clergy’s ritual abyssalized the fortress and Moor fell. After defeating the pursuing Legion, Ace set the apprentices on the path toward a Wizard Academy while his main body began building a settlement among the barbarians; the story then shifted to Media receiving Gana and Pontos in her divine kingdom.

• Ace revealed himself as the Firebearer to Bayern, while Betty built Apprentice Type 1 and Ancesta formed the Heart of Mercy.
• Alex Rona ordered the Dark Clergy to attack, and Ace and Bayern helped the wizard apprentices and their companions flee the fortress as Ancesta and Arno fought to protect the orphanage children.
• Moor fought Alex while the Fleshy Tentacle Monster consumed the fortress, but Alex’s ritual succeeded and a vast shadow devoured both the monster and Moor.
• Ace gathered the survivors, tested them for collaborators, and led the apprentices toward the Lar Mountains to form a Wizard Academy and town.
• Dickens took up Praise of Frost after it killed a demon, while Mirror Ace reunited with Daina and learned that Legion soldiers were pursuing the refugees.
• Ace and Daina ambushed the Legion near Mount Baal, using Burning Short Swords and buried Magic Glycerin spiders before Ace killed the surviving commanders with Soul Burst.
• Ace challenged the apprentices to question authority and seek truth, while his main body gathered nearly five thousand barbarians in Nameless Valley and announced plans to build a Wizard Academy.
• Media welcomed Gana and Pontos into her divine kingdom after Ixia opened a passage through its crystal wall, then asked Gana why he had come.

Athena and Pontos destroyed Dekbah’s Abyssal projection while Ace led the refugees to Nameless Valley and formed a wizard society. The territory became High Tower, with Nightglow Town as its settlement, as Ace began testing a mental network among the apprentices.

• The Elegant Goddess secured the Lord of the Ocean’s alliance with Ixia, while Rhonamuth learned about divine paths and Pontos was warned that faith could endanger his identity.
• Athena became the Ancestor God’s vessel, declared the Tsimari Region independent, and led its army north to fight Dekbah.
• Athena entered the Abyssal Lair and used Pontos’s help to destroy Dekbah’s projection, while Pontos was badly injured and Athena fell unconscious.
• Ace brought the refugees and wizard apprentices to Nameless Valley, restored his emotions through his Mirror clone, and established contracts and a shared subconscious sea for the new wizard community.
• Ace proposed a society with equal citizenship, education, and a wizard council, then named his territory High Tower and appointed Leon as temporary Chief Official of Nightglow Town.
• Leon organized the settlement’s fields and supplies as Ace planned its economy and focused on developing the apprentices’ Magic Books.
• Ace assessed the apprentices, found thirteen at the Intermediate Wizard Apprentice level, and began testing mental links while they were awake and asleep.

Ace developed a collective mental network, opened a magic school, and expanded his research into Heart Power and spatial runes while facing rebellion and Demonic Beast attacks. The arc left Nightglow City nearing completion, with its water infrastructure underway and Ace preparing firearms for ordinary soldiers.

• Ace connected his apprentices through a Mental Link Network, tested shared meditation and dreams, and began planning a school to train more wizards.
• Ace opened High Tower Primary Magic School, gave apprentices robes and badges, and established assessments, practice points, and a shared rune library.
• Ancesta and Arno pledged loyalty to Ace, whose experiments revealed that their Heart Power blocked meditation but could produce Spell-Like Arts and a forming Soul Rune.
• Ace organized school construction and had Leon suppress a rebellion, sentencing the rebels to permanent guilty slavery as the territory offered residents a path to citizenship and magic.
• Demonic Beasts attacked workers in the fields, and Ace saved survivors before the Book Spirit explained that the Sea of Reality and Illusion surrounded their world.
• Ace studied the Courage Rune and Heart Power, helped Ancesta and Arno resume meditation, and made a Faceless Badge to resist mental influence.
• Ace expanded the school project into Nightglow City, where apprentices and residents built homes, roads, workshops, and a reinforced castle with expanded facilities.
• Ace and the apprentices built a reservoir and dam after torrential rain, then planned the city’s water network as Ace began making black-powder weapons and rifled musket barrels.
