• Wumu told Ganazi and Raditz to make their new forms their normal states, then asked whether they would accompany him after the trip to Namek; they agreed to stay by his side.

• Bulma launched the spaceship toward Namek with Son Goku, Krillin, Son Gohan, Xiao Jie, Tien Shinhan, and Piccolo aboard, and said the trip would take about half a month.
• Piccolo asked Son Goku about Wumu and learned how Wumu had defeated him and left training recordings at the Lookout.
• Xiao Jie showed the group the ship’s training room, where they spent the following days practicing with virtual sparring partners and adjustable gravity.

Frieza ordered his forces to head for Planet Namek to claim the Dragon Balls, while Vegeta learned of his plans and set out for the planet himself. Vegeta killed Cui at the base and left, vowing to challenge Frieza after gaining immortality.

• Frieza learned that Vegeta was recovering at Base 79 and ordered Zarbon to monitor him while Ginyu and the others changed course for Planet Namek.
• After recovering, Vegeta learned that Frieza was heading to Namek and suspected Frieza had used his Scouter to spy on him.

• Vegeta boarded a ship and left the base for Planet Namek, determined to obtain immortality and eventually defeat Frieza.

Frieza and the Ginyu Force arrived on Planet Namek, and Frieza sent Dodoria to search for Dragon Balls. Son Goku and his companions landed soon afterward, sensed a powerful evil ki, and flew to confront the threat.

• Frieza welcomed the Ginyu Force, whose members performed their signature dance before accepting his mission to clear obstacles from his path.
• Dodoria led soldiers to a Namekian village, found it deserted with a Dragon Ball left in the open, and sent a soldier to report to Frieza.
• Son Goku, Krillin, Piccolo, Bulma, Tien Shinhan, and Xiao Jie landed on Namek, where Bulma's Dragon Radar showed three Dragon Balls moving together.
• Tien Shinhan and Xiao Jie sensed an evil ki more than ten times stronger than Vegeta's, and Son Goku took the Dragon Radar and flew toward it with Piccolo.

The Grand Elder sent Nail to retrieve Krillin and the other Earthlings so they could receive his remaining strength and oppose Frieza. Vegeta arrived on Namek, hid in a cave to wait for a chance to take a Dragon Ball, and Dodoria continued collecting them for Frieza.

• The Grand Elder told Nail that the Earthlings were headed toward Frieza and asked him to bring them back so he could give them his remaining strength.
• Nail told the gathered Namekians that Frieza was after their Dragon Balls, then flew off to find Krillin and the others.
• Vegeta landed on Namek, sensed Frieza, Ginyu, Dodoria, and the Earthlings, and decided to hide a Dragon Ball while they fought.
• Vegeta concealed himself in a cave and waited for his chance to defeat Frieza and Kakarot.
• Dodoria found the fourth Dragon Ball in an empty village and led his soldiers onward.

Son Goku confronted Dodoria and his soldiers over the Dragon Balls, easily overpowering them despite Dodoria’s confidence in his own strength. After defeating Dodoria, Goku demanded that the soldiers leave the Dragon Balls behind, while Dodoria faced the choice between retreat and King Frieza’s anger.

• Dodoria ordered his soldiers to leave the village with the Dragon Balls, but stopped when Son Goku flew toward them.
• Dodoria’s scouter read Son Goku’s power level as 18,000, and Dodoria attacked him with confidence.
• Son Goku blocked Dodoria’s punch and kicked him away, then defeated the soldiers who charged at him.
• Son Goku dodged Dodoria’s attacks and struck him down, leaving Dodoria and his remaining soldiers afraid to fight.
• Son Goku told Dodoria to leave the Dragon Balls behind and go, and Dodoria struggled to accept the demand and his defeat.

Son Goku and his companions recovered a fourth Dragon Ball and suspected Wumu had arranged for them to come to Planet Namek for another reason. Meanwhile, Frieza dismissed Dodoria from the mission after his failure.

• Dodoria ordered his subordinates to leave the Dragon Ball behind and withdrew from the village with them.
• Son Goku examined the Namekian Dragon Ball, then reunited with Piccolo, Tien Shinhan, and Xiao Jie as they arrived.
• Son Goku sensed that the Namekians had hidden themselves, while Tien Shinhan reasoned that Wumu and Kami had sent them to Planet Namek for a purpose beyond collecting Dragon Balls.

After Raditz and Ganazi finished training, Wumu sent them to Planet Namek to carry out his plans while he prepared for his own journey. Wumu clarified his cultivation system, created the Nature Visualization Method, and set his sights on reaching the next realm.

• Ganazi defeated Raditz in training, then healed him with a Senzu Bean and flew with him to Wumu's residence.
• Ganazi told Wumu that their training was complete and that they were ready to leave for Planet Namek; Wumu told them to go without ruining his plans.
• Wumu reflected that Ganazi and the others would repay his karmic debt to the Grand Elder and that the mission would also enable them to complete their revenge.

• Salza agreed with Neiz’s proposal to invade Slug’s East Galaxy and destroyed Planet Poska before departing with Dore and Neiz.
• Wumu arrived at the ruined planet, sensed Salza heading east, and used Instant Transmission to pursue him.
• Wumu intercepted Salza’s spaceship and destroyed it with an energy blast.

Wumu reached Planet Yardrat and effortlessly destroyed Cooler's soldiers before confronting Cooler in his base. He overwhelmed Cooler and killed the elite soldiers, leaving Cooler shaken and demanding to know who he was.

• Wumu arrived at Cooler's military camp, where soldiers surrounded him and attacked after their Scouters showed his Power Level as zero.
• Wumu survived the soldiers' combined laser barrage and crushed them all with an invisible force.
• Wumu reflected on his strength and flew through Cooler's base, easily overcoming its patrols and defenses.
• Wumu confronted Cooler and blocked his attacks with one finger before flicking him through a wall.
• Wumu killed Cooler's elite soldiers with Spiral Slashes, and Cooler emerged from the rubble to ask who Wumu was.

Wumu defeated Cooler and decided to eliminate the rest of his family, then destroyed Planet Yardrat and admired the explosion. He left contemplating why villains enjoyed the beautiful spectacle of planetary destruction.

• Wumu fought Cooler in his final form while holding his strength to a comparable level, then struck him through mountains and left him badly wounded.
• Cooler launched a huge purple energy sphere, but Wumu turned it back and killed him in the resulting explosion.
• Wumu used Instant Transmission to reach Planet Yardrat and decided to destroy the planet and deal with King Cold and Frieza afterward.

Bulma, Krillin, and Son Gohan waited anxiously on Namek until Nail arrived and told them the Grand Elder wanted to see them. After Son Goku and the others returned with the Dragon Balls, everyone set off with Nail to learn the truth, while Piccolo remained wary and Bulma felt reassured by Goku.

• Bulma complained about the long wait as Krillin and Son Gohan sensed an unfamiliar ki approaching and warned her to hide.
• Nail arrived, introduced himself as the Grand Elder's guard, and asked Krillin and the others to come meet the Grand Elder before they encountered Frieza's group.

Dodoria and Zarbon attacked a Namekian village, but Nail, Son Goku, and the others arrived and fought back. Piccolo killed Dodoria and cornered Zarbon, who began his monstrous transformation.

• Dodoria and Zarbon led their soldiers into the village, knocked down the Namekians, and took them captive.
• Dende confronted the attackers, but Nail emerged with Son Goku and the others and struck Zarbon away from him.

Son Goku defeated Ginyu but was overwhelmed by Tāburu, while Vegeta emerged from the Healing Tank with a power level of six hundred thousand and believed he had become a Super Saiyan. Vegeta attacked Frieza, and Son Goku stepped in to stop Tāburu from striking him, as Frieza questioned Vegeta's boast.

• Frieza cast aside his earlier restraint and transformed into his Final Form, blasting Son Goku, Vegeta, and the others back with his aura.
• Son Goku used Fivefold Kaioken to fight Frieza and ordered Krillin, Piccolo, and the others to take the Dragon Balls and escape.
• Krillin and the others used Solar Flare to seize the Dragon Balls, while Vegeta held Tāburu back and Piccolo and Nail were badly injured.

• Piccolo joined Son Goku’s fight against Frieza, but Frieza overpowered both fighters and revealed his Power Level had recovered to sixty million.
• Vegeta charged Frieza and was swiftly defeated, then taunted him about fearing the Super Saiyan legend and destroying Planet Vegeta.
• Son Goku stopped Frieza from humiliating Vegeta and prepared to give him the last Senzu Bean, but Vegeta urged him to avenge the Saiyans instead.
• Son Goku promised to kill Frieza, gave Piccolo the task of moving Vegeta aside, and attacked with Tenfold Kaioken.
• Frieza kicked Son Goku into a crater and lifted him by the neck with his tail, but Son Goku secretly ate the Senzu Bean, healed, and broke free with Tenfold Kaioken.

Ganazi and Raditz arrived as Frieza tried to reach Shenron, and Ganazi easily knocked him down. After Son Goku and the others left, Raditz revived Frieza so the Saiyans could settle their grudge with him.

• Frieza flew toward Shenron after realizing the Dragon Balls had been summoned, but Son Goku blocked him.
• Ganazi seized Frieza and slammed him into the ground, while Raditz landed and revealed himself as Son Goku’s brother.
• Ganazi gave Vegeta a Senzu Bean, and Son Goku left with Piccolo and Vegeta after Ganazi promised to teach him how to become stronger.
• Raditz revived Frieza with a Senzu Bean and declared that he had returned from Hell for revenge.

Raditz defeated Frieza, and Ganazi destroyed Frieza’s body before they joined Son Goku and the others. On Namek, the group revived their fallen companions and prepared to return to Earth, with Vegeta joining them.

• Raditz overwhelmed Frieza, beat him into a crater, and Ganazi burned his body to ashes.
• Bulma tried to ask Porunga to revive the Earthlings, but Dende explained that wishes had to be made in Namekian and could revive only one person at a time.
• Tien Shinhan asked to revive Yalijia first, and Xiao Jie thanked him for considering his grief.

• After defeating Cooler, Wumu destroyed King Cold and his planet, returned to Earth, and told Kami to use the Dragon Balls to revive innocent people.
• Wumu absorbed energy from the Sun to form his Fire Dan, then opened his first meridian and reached the Demigod realm, raising his power level to 640 billion.
• Wumu realized he had drained too much energy from the Sun, restored some of its Genki, and used Instant Transmission to reach Planet Yardrat.
• Wumu discovered that he could use Instant Transmission without sensing a planet’s spirituality and could wield divine power to perform feats such as conjuring clothes.
• While practicing Tai Chi, Wumu gained insight into its connection to space, time, and the Dao, and suspected that Tai Chi and Bajiquan held clues to reaching Seeing the Divine.
• Wumu finished practicing and prepared to find Ganazi and the others.

Wumu returned with Ganazi and Raditz after the events on Planet Namek and went to bid Elder Pybara farewell. After discussing Wumu’s progress toward godhood and the importance of the mind’s power, Wumu asked to copy the books in Pybara’s library.

• Raditz worried that Goku might not accept him, and Ganazi encouraged him to face his feelings and cherish his family.
• Wumu appeared and told Ganazi and Raditz they would leave after visiting Elder Pybara.
• Wumu surprised Pybara during his tea and explained that he had come to say farewell and thank him for what he had learned.
• Pybara sensed Wumu’s growing divine power, warned him not to pursue strength alone, and explained how Planetary Gods cultivated the power of the mind.
• Wumu said he understood his own path and asked Pybara for permission to copy the books in his library.

Wumu received Pybara’s library knowledge, then traveled with Ganazi and Raditz to the East Galaxy to seek the opportunity that could help him become a god. He reached a void rift identified as the Forgotten Land and stepped toward it.

• Pybara revealed that he had written every book on his planet and transmitted his library directly into Wumu’s mind.
• Wumu asked Pybara to look after any Earthlings he encountered, then used Instant Transmission to take Ganazi and Raditz to the East Galaxy.
• Wumu noticed Merus, who sensed an unfamiliar divine presence but continued his patrol mission and captured a group of space bandits.
• Wumu reached a rift at the end of the East Galaxy despite Ganazi’s unease and stepped toward the Forgotten Land.
