Chu Han led Huo Yuhao and Xiao Xiao to victory in the freshman assessment, then traveled into the Sun Moon Empire and helped Ye Guyi defeat a group of Evil Soul Masters. While Chu Han and Ye Guyi grew closer, Huo Yuhao reached the Far North’s core region with Sky Dream Ice Silkworm.

• Chu Han let Huo Yuhao and Xiao Xiao defeat their early assessment opponents, then carried their team through ten straight division victories and the elimination rounds.
• Chu Han’s team defeated Ning Tian’s team and Huo Huabin’s team, while Huo Yuhao vowed to surpass his half-brother within two and a half years.
• Chu Han defeated Yang Wushuang in the final, gave the team’s hundred-year spirit bone to Xiao Xiao, and later reached rank 38 while challenging Inner Court students.
• Huo Yuhao traveled into the Far North with Sky Dream Ice Silkworm, while Lan Fo’er resolved to enter the human world and avenge her father.
• Chu Han entered a lawless region of the Sun Moon Empire, killed three Evil Soul Masters who were transporting captive children, and met Ye Guyi when she mistook him for an enemy.
• Chu Han and Ye Guyi tracked the Evil Soul Masters to a cave, defeated their Soul Saint leader and Blood Ghost, and escaped with a token marked “Saint.”
• Ye Guyi kissed Chu Han, then brought him to the Ordinary Alliance, where they agreed to have the token investigated and set out together to tour the Sun Moon Empire.
• Huo Yuhao reached the Far North’s core region, where Sky Dream Ice Silkworm identified the Titan Snow Demon King and explained his hope of ascending with Huo Yuhao to see the Ice Empress again.

Chu Han grew stronger while searching for Ye Guyi, then helped her survive the destruction of the Ordinary Alliance and exposed the Holy Spirit Cult’s plans. The cult escaped Spirit Hall’s counterattack, while Chu Han and Ye Guyi advanced within the academy and prepared to grow stronger.

• Huo Yuhao absorbed the Ice Scorpion as his second martial soul and gained a ten-thousand-year spirit ring and torso bone.
• Chu Han reached rank 40, absorbed a twenty-thousand-year spirit ring, and later helped Huo Yuhao hunt for a new ring, where the Asura God attacked them and identified Chu Han as Chu Ye’s son.
• Huo Yuhao defeated Huo Huabin in their school fight, and Chu Han later entered the Inner Court as Huo Yuhao stayed behind to study soul tools.
• Chu Han rushed to the Ordinary Alliance after Ye Guyi joined its attack on the Holy Spirit Cult, then arrived in time to protect her from Lan Fuzi.
• Chu Han drove Lan Fuzi away, and Ye Guyi told him the Holy Spirit Cult might be colluding with the Sun Moon Empire’s Imperial Family.
• After Chu Han warned Spirit Hall about the cult, its leader ordered an attack that destroyed the Ordinary Alliance, but Ye Guyi survived at Earth Dragon Gate and agreed to serve as bait.
• Jin Changfeng and Spirit Hall’s Title Douluo ambushed the Holy Spirit Cult elders, killing two and capturing two, while three escaped.
• Ye Guyi joined Spirit Hall Academy and became Qian Leyan’s disciple, while Chu Han reached rank 57 and visited Huo Yuhao and Xiao Xiao.

Chu Han earned the right to enter Slaughter City’s Hell Road, then returned to Spirit Hall and led a mission against the Holy Spirit Cult, absorbing Lan Fuzi as his spirit soul. After Spirit Hall’s attack on the cult failed, Chu Han returned to Slaughter City to begin the Asura Nine Trials.

• Dean Jin Changfeng required Chu Han to defeat three Spirit Emperor-level students before approving his training in Slaughter City, and Chu Han defeated Yu Qiang, Xie Yang, and Qian Yu.
• Chu Han entered Slaughter City, won one hundred consecutive matches, and forced the King of Slaughter to open Hell Road after Chu Ye appeared and opened its entrance.
• Chu Han passed through Hell Road, killed the Three-Headed Bat King, gained Divine Slaughter's Domain, and postponed the Asura Nine Trials until he was stronger.
• Jin Changfeng sent Chu Han, Ye Guyi, Huo Yuhao, and other students to hunt Evil Soul Masters, and Chu Han devised a plan that led the squad into battle with the Holy Spirit Cult.
• Chu Han and Ye Guyi pursued Lan Fuzi, and Chu Han revealed she was a hundred-thousand-year Deep Sea Demon Whale before persuading her to become his spirit soul.
• Chu Han absorbed Lan Fuzi’s spirit ring, reached the peak of Rank 65, and told Ye Guyi and Huo Yuhao that he was Chu Ye’s son.

• Four months later, Chu Han reached level 67 and left for Slaughter City to begin the Asura Nine Trials, while the King of Slaughter learned of his return.

Chu Han completed successive Asura trials while helping Spirit Hall’s Golden Generation pass its assessment and begin the Angel God’s Trial. After revealing his lineage and seeking an eighth spirit ring, he left to hunt a hundred-thousand-year soul beast as the Asura God pursued his own rapid rise.

• Chu Han completed the first two Asura trials, survived Shadow’s assassination attempt, and returned to Spirit City for the Golden Generation selection.
• Chu Han and Huo Yuhao fought an unfinished duel, and Qian Leyu named them, Xiao Xiao, Ye Guyi, Qian Yu, Qing Chi, and Guang Yu as Spirit Hall’s new Golden Generation.
• Chu Han and the others defeated rank 95 Demon Bear Douluo with their coordinated attacks and the Thirty-Six Consecutive Slashes of Gods and Demons.
• Chu Han revealed that he was the son of Chu Ye and Qian Renxue and asked Qian Leyu and Qian Yu to keep his identity secret.
• The Golden Generation received Immortal Herbs at Sunset Forest, and Huo Yuhao gained the Eye of Destiny and the Octagonal Mysterious Ice Grass as his Soul Spirit.
• Chu Han returned to Slaughter City, completed the third and fourth Asura trials, and raised his Soul Power to rank 80 without obtaining an eighth spirit ring.
• The Asura God continued his rapid cultivation and persuaded the Demon Empress to help him kill Demon Spirit.
• After returning to Spirit City and seeing his companions’ progress in the Angel God’s Trial, Chu Han asked Jin Changfeng to help him find a hundred-thousand-year soul beast.
