Li Qi took control of Stark Industries, built a new power source and armor, and gathered Daisy Johnson, Shang-Chi, and Xu Xialing around him. After defeating Xu Wenwu, he took leadership of the Ten Rings and returned to his villa with the organization under his command.

• Li Qi took control of Stark Industries, forced Obadiah Stane to surrender his shares, and persuaded the directors to end weapons production in favor of clean energy.
• Li Qi recruited Daisy Johnson, awakened her shockwave powers, and began developing a new element and powered armor.
• Li Qi met Shang-Chi and Katy on the beach, protected them from Extremis-enhanced attackers, and learned that Shang-Chi had fled his father Xu Wenwu’s Ten Rings.
• Li Qi met Ying Li in a pocket realm and promised to help her reunite with her family.
• Xu Xialing arrived at Li Qi’s villa after JARVIS sent her a postcard, and Li Qi made her his bodyguard while he built and tested his armor.
• Li Qi took control of Dr. Maya and prepared with Daisy Johnson and Xu Xialing as Killian’s squad and Xu Wenwu’s Ten Rings approached the villa.
• Li Qi fought off Killian’s forces, defeated Xu Wenwu, and used mind control to take command of the Ten Rings.

Li Qi strengthened his position in Ta Lo, broke the dragon-scale seal’s threat, and pursued Diana to Paradise Island as Ares’s forces attacked. He won Diana’s trust and agreed to help her face Ares, while Hippolyta and Antiope remained wary of him.

• Li Qi took control of Killian’s Extremis research, helped defeat Killian’s forces, and warned the Joint Chiefs of Staff not to trouble him.
• Li Qi traveled with Xu Wenwu, Ying Li, and Xu Xialing to Ta Lo, where Ying Nan welcomed Ying Li and revealed the failing seal that held back an evil dragon and Soul Eaters.
• The villagers made Li Qi their chief, and he led the assault on the sealed mountain, where JARVIS detonated two nuclear bombs and collapsed the seal.
• Li Qi used Ta Lo’s Transmission Stone to contact Diana, then ordered a worldwide search for Paradise Island and left Xu Wenwu in charge of the village.
• Li Qi recruited Gwen Stacy and sent Stark Industries’ weapons departments to Ta Lo while JARVIS traced clues to Paradise Island in the North Sea.
• Li Qi reached Paradise Island during an invasion, helped Diana, Antiope, and Hippolyta defeat the attackers, and refused to leave without Diana.
• Hippolyta kept Li Qi under guard while the Amazons confirmed Ares controlled the invading company and prepared to trap him.
• Hippolyta armed Diana for the coming fight, and Diana agreed to let Li Qi stay and help against Ares before Antiope caught them talking at the hot spring.
