Peter walked towards the Unstable Molecule Fabric (UMF) manufacturing machine on the side of the laboratory. This machine had been dormant before. He started the machine and quickly entered a series of instructions on the operation panel on the side.
"What is this for?" Jessica asked.
"This is a clothing manufacturing machine." Peter replied while typing.
"You actually have a machine that can directly make clothes?" Jessica was surprised, "How cool, what can it make?"
"Such as this." Peter pressed the confirmation button.
The machine made a low roar. Everyone stepped back and saw that the top of the machine slowly opened, revealing the internal storage compartment. Inside lay a pure white body suit with dark gray microcircuits on both sides, and a circular control panel with a USB interface on the chest.
Peter picked it up and inspected it. The design was flawless, exactly as he had imagined. Feeling the weak current remaining on the surface of the suit, he nodded with satisfaction.
"What is this?" Johnny came over and asked.
"This is an experimental project I have been developing." Peter walked to the table and took out a data cable to connect the suit to the main computer.
"What exactly is it used for?" Jessica asked.
"This is a multi-functional suit," Peter explained while typing quickly on the keyboard. "It is made from a mixture of my own improved Unstable Molecule Fabric (UMF) and the nanorobot mesh structure obtained from a scientific research team of Kyoto."
"It sounds awesome, but can you explain it more clearly?"
"Meaning, I can do this--"
Peter hit the Enter key, and a red and black 3D model of the classic Spider-Man suit appeared on the computer screen. The data was instantly imported into the suit, and the surface of the entire white jumpsuit flashed, turning into the red and black suit on the screen in the blink of an eye!
"Fuck!" Johnny couldn't help but curse.
Jessica also had a face full of surprise. "Oh my god...Peter, this is simply incredible!"
"Thank you." Peter unplugged the data cable and picked up the suit, "It is indestructible, cannot be torn, and is absolutely fireproof. Johnny, try it."
Johnny took the suit dubiously, lit a flame at his fingertips, and tried to burn the material of the suit. However, the flames fell on it, and the suit was unscathed.
"How is this possible?" Johnny was shocked.
Peter took back the suit with a smile, "This is its special attribute. I can set it to an unchangeable form, and I can also let it disguise itself as any appearance imported into the system at any time."
"How many looks can it store?" Jessica asked.
"There are only five types currently," Peter shrugged, "I'm still trying to expand its memory."
"Bulletproof?"
"Bulletproof." Peter nodded, "I asked Unstable Molecules to simulate the polymer structure of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s tactical suit, but cut the thickness by half." After saying that, he handed it to Jessica for inspection.
Jessica touched the texture of the suit with a subtle expression on his face. "It's too thin... it feels like ordinary spandex fabric."
Peter's eyelids twitched. "I know... this is a temporary emergency plan! Can you save some face for me!"
The two couldn't help laughing. Jessica threw the suit back to him. "Okay, put it on quickly. When you are ready, we will go to Osborn Enterprises."
Johnny and Jessica turned around and left the laboratory. Peter successfully locked the door, put the suit on the table, and took out the helmet and Silk-Shooter - these were the only parts of the previous suit that could still be used normally.
You must be careful next. This temporary suit is not equipped with Repulsor Cannon or chest cannons. It is just a tights with extremely high defense and equipped with Silk-Shooter. The real Spider-Man fighting style... The combat effectiveness of the Lizard is obvious to all. This battle will never be easy to fight.
When Peter was about to change clothes, Jessica turned back. The two talked about their relationship and happened to be bumped into by Susan who was returning after sending Gwen Stacy away.
Susan was stunned at the door, then avoided their eyes and turned to leave. Jessica also arranged his uniform and reminded Peter to prepare to leave as soon as possible.
Peter put on the new suit and walked out of the laboratory. Johnny took a look and felt that the effect was good. The interface in the helmet also lit up normally, and the connection with the suit and wristband was established.
Susan didn't come back for a long time, so Peter went to the laboratory to find her, but heard her arguing with Jessica.
Susan was worried that Peter was underage, and asked Jessica whether the relationship between the two had crossed the line. Jessica explained the age difference caused by her long-term freeze, but still insisted on her choice. Then, she asked Susan whether her concern for Peter also included other feelings.
"I don't love him." Susan denied.
Jessica didn't believe it. She said that her senses were sharper than Peter and could distinguish different emotions. Susan was silent for a long time and only repeated her denial in a low voice.
Peter stood outside the door, not knowing how to face these words.
The door opened, Jessica saw him and asked, "Are you ready?"
"Okay."
"Then let's go."
Peter glanced into the room. Susan was still standing there with a complicated expression. He wanted to say something, but Lizard Man had to be stopped first.
Back to the lounge, everyone gathered.
"Wait a minute," Susan took off his lab coat, revealing the blue combat uniform underneath, "I'll go too."
Johnny was a little surprised. "Sister? You don't usually like to participate in such tough battles."
"I'm sure, let's go." Susan didn't look at Peter, but walked quickly to Johnny, and his brother held her waist.
Jessica skillfully lay on the back of Peter. When everyone came to the terrace, Peter jumped out and threw Silk towards the night sky; Johnny burst into flames, took Susan into the air, and went straight to the Osborn Enterprises building.
A few minutes later, Osborn Tower was in sight. The building was being evacuated urgently, and security personnel in suits were directing the crowd to swarm out. Obviously, Department of Homeland Security's goalkeeper had raised this threat to the highest level.
Peter looked at Jessica on his back, who nodded. "It's safe. The inside of the building should be empty, only Lizard Man is left."
Peter landed next to the receiving antenna on the top floor of the building. He pulled out the data cable on the helmet and inserted it into the antenna port. "Sassy, can you invade the building's monitoring system?"
"Trying... Sorry master, Osborn Enterprises's firewall level is too high. Unless you allow me to connect directly to their main server, I cannot obtain core monitoring." Sassy's voice was a little frustrated.
"It's okay, we will search manually." Peter looked at everyone, "Johnny, you patrol the outside of the building and check every window. If you find anything--"
"Leave it to me!" Before he could finish his words, Human Torch had already turned into a blaze of fire and rushed out, circling rapidly around the building.
"Jessica, Susan, let's enter the building separately. Once we find the target, inform others immediately."
The two women nodded in agreement and quickly pushed open the rooftop door on the top floor and sneaked into the building.
Peter came to the edge of the building, jumped up, drew an arc in the air and clung to the glass exterior wall, slid down quickly, and looked at each floor through the window.
Ten minutes later, the anxious shout of Johnny finally came from the communicator, "Found it! He is on the 31st floor! I lost him, but he must still be on this floor!"
"I'll be there right away!" Jessica responded.
"I'll go too!" Susan's voice was crisper and clearer.
"Sassy, what is the area on the 31st floor?" Peter asked while moving.
"Mainly the finance department and equipment maintenance area."
"What exactly is the maintenance area responsible for?"
"Central ventilation system for the entire building."
Peter had a flash of inspiration in his mind and figured out the key in an instant!
