Charles's expression suddenly changed. "Did you blow up Triskelion?!"
Qin stared at Peter, her eyes full of horror and worry. "What do you want to do? Tell me your real plan!"
Peter was silent for a moment, raised his hand to close the Mind Stone blocking coating on the suit, and motioned towards Charles and Qin.
The two Mind Stone induction masters instantly penetrated Peter's superficial thoughts. The next second, Qin took a breath of air and turned pale. "No! Peter! You can't do this! This will make you a target for the whole world!"
Charles also looked solemn, with horror and admiration in his eyes.
"Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D. have been hiding in the dark for too long. It's time to shine the sun into the gutter." Peter's eyes were determined.
"I'll go with you!" Felicia rushed forward and grabbed his hand, "No matter what you want to do, we will face it together!"
Peter looked at the tears in her eyes and sighed softly, "Sorry, Felicia, it won't work this time."
Zhila!
A weak bioelectric current instantly surged out from Peter's palm. Felicia groaned and fell limply into Peter's arms.
Peter gently carried the unconscious Felicia to the sofa, turned to look at Qin: "Help me take care of her."
Qin bit her lower lip and finally nodded heavily.
Qin bit her lower lip and finally nodded heavily.
"Peter..." Charles said solemnly, "If you really do this..."
"I know the consequences."
Charles looked at him gently. "Why do you always feel that you have to carry this burden on your shoulders alone?"
"Because... anyone else might have messed it up." Peter turned around and walked out.
"If you need shelter one day... don't hesitate." Charles called him from behind, his eyes full of admiration and sigh, "This is the only thing I can do for you... for everything you are about to do for all of us."
"I will consider it." Peter stopped and nodded, then strode away. Leaving behind a group of X-Men with confused faces, and Professor Xavier with complicated expressions.
Peter put on the mask, turned around and walked into the night.
Twenty minutes later, Batmobile landed in a secret underground garage at Manhattan.
Click!
As soon as the car door opened, dozens of dazzling tactical bright flashlights instantly illuminated the underground garage as bright as day. Dozens of S.H.I.E.L.D. tactical agents wearing heavy body armor and holding special assault rifles surrounded the vehicle, and the black holes of their guns were all pointed at Peter.
"Spider-Man, raise your hands and surrender immediately!" the leading agent shouted sternly.
Peter walked out of the car calmly, slowly raised his hands, but a cold smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
He didn't resist. He knew the consequences of doing so, but it was part of the plan. More importantly, it was the first step to truly subvert the world.
Fuck the original plot, and fuck all predetermined fates.
It's time to use the power he has to make substantial changes - not just to do justice, but to actually save them.
The interrogation room in the S.H.I.E.L.D. secret base is surprisingly spacious.
The surrounding walls were embedded with a layer of black velvet-like material with a dull metallic luster, which was weird. Peter could vaguely feel that it was emitting some kind of weak radiation, but he couldn't figure out what it was - X-rays? Or was it some new technology developed by S.H.I.E.L.D. to suppress superpowers? He even felt a faint headache. Could it be some kind of machine specially designed to create headaches?
Bang!
The senior agent codenamed David slapped the alloy interrogation table hard, leaned forward, and stared into the eyes of Peter.
"Do you know how much trouble you have caused?! Blow up Triskelion! You are treason!"
Peter leaned back on the chair and even yawned with some satisfaction. David's roar was just background noise in his ears. He was more concerned about the surveillance probes in this room - there were five on the surface alone, and he didn't know how many were hidden in the dark.
"Are you listening to me?!" David was furious.
"I want to see my lawyer." Peter said calmly.
David sneered, his eyes full of mockery. "Lawyer? No serious lawyer in the United States dares to take your case. You are now the number one public enemy of the country!"
"Hell's Kitchen, Matt·Murdock Lawyer." Peter didn't even raise his eyelids, "Contact him. If he refuses, we can talk about something else."
David gritted his teeth and stared at Peter for a long time, finally snorted coldly, slammed the door and left.
As the door of the interrogation room was closed, Peter awakened Sassy in his mind: "Play "Star Wars" to pass the time."
The microcomputer projected a translucent light curtain inside the field of view of the suit. S.H.I.E.L.D. failed to take off his suit, and the heavy alloy handcuffs on his wrists were useless. As long as Peter is willing, he can dismantle this interrogation room into scrap metal in half a second.
Halfway through the movie, the alloy door slid open again.
Blind lawyer Matt·Murdock walked in slowly with a blind cane. He listened attentively and raised his eyebrows slightly: "You are actually watching "Star Wars"?"
"Just to pass the time." Peter put away the light screen and smiled slightly, "Thanks, Matt, I owe you a favor."
"You do owe me a big favor." Matt pulled up the chair and sat down, lowering his voice and saying, "When Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. rushed into the office, Foggy almost wet his pants in fear... Peter, what on earth are you doing?"
"I came to you, firstly, because I only trust you in Hell's Kitchen; secondly, the exposure of this case will make your firm famous."
Matt smiled to himself, "'Blind lawyer defends super criminal', I have already thought of tomorrow's headlines for them."
"The charges don't matter, they can't convict me anyway." Peter's fingers began to tap lightly on the table.
Ta, tap, tap--
The seemingly random knocking sounds are extremely precise in rhythm.
"I called you here mainly to disgust the agent named David. By the way..." Peter smiled and looked at the surveillance camera in the corner, "S.H.I.E.L.D. is secretly building world-destroying weapons of mass destruction underground, and the mastermind behind the scenes is still secretly controlling everything. If it is not blown up, the world will be over."
Matt's expression moved slightly, his invisible eyes were slightly lowered, and his ears keenly captured the Morse code being tapped on the table.
The repeated string of codes has only one sentence: [Protect this city].
Matt nodded solemnly. "I understand. I assure you that the 'commission' will be fulfilled."
"Happy cooperation." Peter retracted his finger and said loudly, "Our conversation is over!"
The door opened in response, and David led several armed agents and took Matt away with a gloomy look. In the eyes of S.H.I.E.L.D., a group of agents who think highly of themselves, they can only see the overall situation, and will not pay attention to the code that a sixteen-year-old boy typed on the table.
