He briefly searched the Internet for geneticists, and sure enough, his father was from Germany, and his mother was from Italy. He went to the United States to study at university, and after graduation he worked in - you guessed it - a mysterious private laboratory. Later, he left United States and settled in Italy, occasionally giving expensive special lectures. He probably relied on this to make a living.

He looks very old, even older than Uncle Ben. His address is not public, but the web page shows that he will give a speech at a university in Italy in a week, probably titled "Gene Enhancement: The Future of Humanity."

Peter tapped his chin. This was a mystery, and he loved solving puzzles the most. He had to find out what this man knew. He could have transformed into Spider-Man and interrogated him directly, but if Peter·Parker was witnessed heading to Italy, and immediately after that the lecturer was approached - even a fool could guess the connection. He had to sneak into Italy without anyone noticing. He needed a private jet.

He glanced at the clock, it was approaching midnight. Perfect.

He dialed the number Tony. The call was answered almost instantly, "Hey, Spider-Man, what can I do for you?"

"Can you do me a favor?" Peter asked with a smile.

One week later.

On the private tarmac of Tony·Stark, Felicia and Uncle Ben accompanied Peter.

"Peter, are you sure you have to go?" Uncle Ben looked worried, "I thought you were very happy staying at Baxter Building." Peter told Telling him and Aunt May that he and Tony would go to visit Stark's factory in Italy to get a feel for the technology there - of course it was a lie.

"I'm very happy, Uncle Ben. I'm just a little curious about Mr. Stark's factory." Peter shrugged, "Don't worry, it'll be fine. I'm with Iron Man."

"That's what I'm worried about." Uncle Ben muttered, "Trouble sticks to that man like a magnet--"

"--I promise Peter will stay away when the time comes, right, dear?" Felicia winked at him.

"Of course, dear, I promise." Peter smiled.

"I still don't understand how you know Tony·Stark." Uncle Ben looked at Tony who was standing by the gangway waiting.

"I said, he is Susan's friend, I asked her to help." Peter shrugged again, "Relax, Uncle Ben, I promise it will be fine."

Uncle Ben sighed and stepped forward to hug him, "Okay. You must be careful, you know, Little Tiger?"

Peter stepped away and nodded. "It's a deal."

"Okay. I'll go now, you two say goodbye." Uncle Ben winked at Peter, turned around and got in the car.

Felicia crossed his arms and looked at him sideways. "What's going on, Little Tiger? Don't fool me with that factory tour, I'm not that stupid."

Peter smiled, "I didn't intend to lie to you, Xiaomaomi." He sighed, "This matter... is a bit private."

"I'm your fucking girlfriend, I take care of private matters." She lowered her voice.

"I know." Peter nodded, "I promise, I will tell you everything when I come back. But I have to settle this matter first, and I have to go alone." He met her gaze, and she finally gave in.

"Okay. But swear to me, you must take me with you next time." She said fiercely, "Also, you have to buy me shoes from Italy, do you understand? You are not allowed to buy cheap ones, I want the expensive black ones."

Peter smiled and put his arms around her waist, pulled her close and kissed her softly. She hummed softly on his lips, and then pulled away after a moment. "Go home early."

"Look." Felicia smiled. Peter smiled secretly. She had no idea how much she looked like the future MJ at this moment.

Watching her and Uncle Ben's car drive away, Peter quickly boarded the plane and sat down next to Tony.

"Any questions?" Tony took a sip of whiskey.

"There's nothing I can't handle." Peter shrugged. The cabin door slowly closed and the engine began to warm up.

"Speaking of which, you never told me the real purpose of this flight." Tony raised his eyebrows.

"You're right, I didn't." Peter remained silent.

"You have to understand that I can order a U-turn." Tony threatened, "Just tell the pilot and we won't move an inch. Then you will have to think of another way. Maybe Thor can give you a ride--"

"My parents have studied Super Soldier Serum." Peter interrupted him. You have to say it sooner or later. If you don't say it, the whole trip will be boring.

"What? They shouldn't be old--"

"Not the original one, I mean they tried to replicate the serum. And," Peter paused, "I think they succeeded."

Tony glanced at his arm. "Did he inject that thing into your body?"

Peter nodded. "Some version. But something went wrong. The organization they worked for was not a good person. My parents got scared, hid, and then... died."

Tony swayed the amber liquid in the cup. "What does this have to do with us going to Italy?"

"Chief researcher, Herbert·Wyndham. My parents think he is the one who tracked them down. He is now at Italy."

"Okay, let's go find him." Tony smiled.

"No."

"No?"

"No. This matter is very personal. Tony·Stark cannot be seen having contact with Wyndham - he is too conspicuous and will scare the fish away. I will go myself."

"Wearing a red and black suit?"

"No, a ski hood is enough. No one needs to know I've been there."

"So you used my plane to avoid leaving entry records, right?" Tony asked. Peter nodded. Tony grinned. "I've always wanted to be an international human smuggler."

Ten hours later, they arrived at Italy. Tony managed to get Peter out of the airport security check and then drove to the university where Wyndham was going to give a lecture.

The streets of Rome are breathtakingly beautiful and full of life: street performers, musicians, and beautiful girls in short skirts. Peter admires them silently.

Tony left him on campus and decided to take a look at Italy's factory and do something really useful. Peter said he would call if he needed help.

He walked into the campus and looked around cautiously. Most of the people around him were much older than him, but fortunately he was tall enough so that he would not stand out.

He slipped into the hall where Wyndham was about to give a speech and sat down in the back row. Not long after, the target person walked in.

The speech was in Italy. Fortunately, Peter could really understand some of it and reluctantly followed it.

The content is incisive. To be honest, this old man's level puts Susan to shame - but he is also more than sixty years older than Susan. If Peter hadn't been convinced that he was related to the death of his parents, he might have admired him very much.

After the speech, Wyndham resigned and left. Peter followed him from a distance and watched him talk to the principal, shake hands with several students, give some career advice, collect the check, and then walk out of the school gate.

Peter acted as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. taught. Natasha always thought that he was not good at sneaking and always picked him out in the crowd - but Wyndham was just an old man, not an international spy.

Wyndham got into a car and drove towards the street. Peter ejected a Spider-shaped tracker onto the hood and watched him go away.

That night, Peter tracked the signal and came to Wyndham's residence. He put on a black ski hood and casual clothes, carrying the theft tools borrowed from Felicia. When he borrowed them from her, she didn't even ask her why. He loved this woman to death.

The house is equipped with a security system, the best on the market, silent but deadly. Peter connected SA to the phone line, invaded his wireless network, and used it to hack into the security system and shut it all down. His skills in this area are getting stronger and stronger.

He used the Felicia laser glass knife to slide silently into the room. The ceiling became his passage, and he quickly crawled to the living room like a gecko. The hall door was half open, and the light poured out.

The study is antique, with bookshelves on three walls, and two armchairs surrounding an open fireplace. Wyndham is sitting on one of the chairs, drinking alone in front of the flames.

Peter glanced at a computer placed on the desk behind him.

He sneaked into the study quietly, crawled along the wall to the other side of the room, and slowly descended to approach the computer. He took out the copy disk that could scan and copy all files, and inserted it into the interface.

"So, you plan to leave without even saying hello?" Wyndham suddenly said.
