"Who is the dog?!" Kimmy stepped on his stomach. Peter coughed up a mouthful of blood, and the severe pain in his back almost made him faint. Fortunately, his spine was not broken.
Kimmy landed another kick on his ribs. "I will slowly drain your blood!"
The remaining two didn't look at him at all.
"Kimmy." The Asian woman shouted.
Kimmy ignored him and kicked him again.
"Kimmy!" The Asian female voice suddenly rose in pitch.
The blonde girl froze. Peter raised her head with difficulty and found that the three of them were looking deep into the woods with pale faces.
A figure walked out of the darkness.
With her long hair shawl and black leather pants clinging to her legs, her voice sounded like the undercurrent of deep water, "You three are quite capable."
The three female vampires were trembling with fear.
"Tell me," the man stepped closer, "Are you trash or just plain stupid?"
The blonde woman spoke in a trembling voice, "We... just want to find something to eat."
"Of course," the man smiled, raised his hand, and slapped her in the face. The sound of broken bones was clearly audible. The blonde fell to the ground, covering her deformed chin so she couldn't even scream. "It's useless."
The other hand was raised and pointed at Peter. He licked his lips as if looking at a piece of fine meat. "You little thing, you look quite juicy."
"Go ahead and lick my ass." Peter stood up unsteadily on the ground. He didn't bring his uniform, which was the biggest mistake.
"Don't worry, I want to do more than just lick your ass." The man licked his lips and slowly poked out his fangs, "Tell me, little boy, have you ever slept with a man?"
"No, and you're not really a man, at most you're a gay lord."
Just as the man was about to step forward, a sharp whistle passed over his head.
A black flying disc arced across the night sky.
Boom!
The moment the flying disc exploded, the entire forest was illuminated by white light as if it were noon. Peter's eyes were filled with snowy white, and his eardrums were filled with the heart-rending screams of the vampires.
He blinked desperately, and when his vision recovered, the three female vampires were already rolling on the ground with their whole bodies on fire, their skin burned to a burnt brown, but they were not dead yet.
Even the creepy male vampire stayed where he was, with his mouth wide open.
The tip of a knife pierced through his chin.
The long knife was smoothly pulled horizontally, a head flew into the air, and the headless corpse fell to the ground. The blood mist dissipated, revealing a black man wearing sunglasses and a long black trench coat. He flicked his wrist, shook off the blood on the blade, and nodded slightly.
"Blade!" screamed a female vampire who was not dead yet.
The two who were still able to move rushed towards Blade. The man in black trench coat dodged, kicked, and swung his knife with smooth movements, heading straight for the beheading.
But the blond woman, whose hair was burned off and whose body was charred, slowly turned her head and stared at Peter. She leaned down and rushed toward him like Beast.
"Get away!" Peter A blast of biological electricity hit her chest, knocking her away. As soon as she landed, she immediately rushed up again with all four limbs together.
Peter rolled back on the ground, the bioelectricity in his body bottomed out, and there was no point in shooting anymore. From the corner of his eye, he spotted a metal pipe standing on the edge of the garden, and grabbed it without thinking.
The moment he turned around and struck, Peter felt that the iron pipe in his hand suddenly changed.
Just like his own fingers, he clearly felt every trace of its internal structure - and then ordered it to become thinner, narrower, and sharper.
The iron pipe stretched into a blade in his palm, Arclight cut through the night, and cut through the female vampire's neck without any hindrance.
The head flew up and landed between Peter's legs. The headless body fell to the side and quickly turned into a pile of ashes.
Not far away, Blade took advantage of another person's distraction, decapitated him with a knife, and stabbed the last vampire through the chest.
Four clouds of ashes were scattered on the ground, leaving nothing behind.
Peter gasped for air and looked down at his right hand. It was not an iron pipe, but a knife. Although it was rough, it was indeed a sharp metal blade.
He raised his head, looked at the man who saved him and sheathed his knife, bent down and asked, "Are you okay?"
"Hmm... it's okay." Peter nodded and looked at the ashes on the ground again, "Those... are they really vampires?"
"Yes."
"But I never-"
"They are not human beings." Blade interrupted him.
"Neither do I." Peter smiled to himself.
Blade looked into his eyes and spoke calmly, as if saying that the weather was nice tonight, "What makes us human is not genes, but choices. I have seen people who became vampires but never killed anyone, but these... are monsters and deserved to die."
Peter was silent. He didn't completely agree, but he didn't have the energy to argue at the moment.
"Are you Blade? The one who hunts vampires?"
"How do you know?"
"Hearsay." Peter stood up slowly and kicked the broken glass under the window, "You may not believe it, but I'm just here for vacation. Rest and relax? Ha."
Blade glanced around the wooden house. "There are only a few vampires nearby. You are safe for now. I will kill them and then leave."
He turned to leave, but Peter quickly called him out, "Wait!" He took out the Wendy's receipt from his pocket, turned it over to the back and quickly wrote down the contact information and handed it over, "If you come to Queens, call this number. Although I don't look like much, my brain is pretty good, so I can help."
Blade took the note, looked at it, and curved his mouth slightly. "Okay, thank you." He put the note into the inner pocket of his windbreaker, walked into the woods, and quickly disappeared.
Peter stared at that back blankly, and only one thought came to his mind - he is so damn handsome.
Then he looked down at the ashes on the ground, the two unconscious puppet boys and a broken window, and sighed. The long night had just begun.
He picked up the metal knife. The blade was as rough as a scrap, but he clearly felt - magnetic control. Magneto's gene had been activated. The metal seemed to be alive in his palm, and he could change its shape.
The next day, Peter didn't sleep much.
First, I ran to the nearest hardware store and bought materials to cover the windows. The work was rough, but at least the landlord wouldn't see the problem at a glance. Then I threw the four puppet boys to the side of the road. When I went to town for dinner at noon, I heard people talking about the discovery of several children who had been missing for half a year and didn't remember anything.
He also collected a copy of the vampire's ashes, but the equipment he brought with him couldn't be verified at all. He could only wait until he got back to Baxter Building.
After finishing all the messy work, he returned to the cabin and slept until it turned west. When he woke up, the first thing he did was to test his new abilities.
The ability is indeed related to metals, but it seems to only react to ferromagnetic metals.
He held a piece of steel plate and closed his eyes. The feeling was both strange and familiar - the metal seemed to have become a part of his body, without nerves, but could be felt, like a ridiculously long fingernail. He tried to "think" and imagine what the iron pipe looked like yesterday.
A weak electromagnetic wave surged out of the palm, and the steel piece was slowly rolled up as if held by invisible hands, twisted, stretched, and finally turned into a rough iron pipe.
"Fuck... I've become a metal manipulator!" Peter almost jumped out of his chair, "Toph fainted in the toilet from crying!"
Of course, this ability is nothing compared to Magneto. The opponent's magnetic field control is at the master level, and he is just an apprentice who has just started. But this ability is so useful that he has to hide it as a trump card.
As dusk approached, Peter packed all his luggage, stood in front of the mirror after taking a shower, picked up the tongue scraper and prepared to scrape twice, but found that the edge was extremely blunt. He subconsciously held the metal part of the scraper and slightly activated his power. The scraper became thinner and sharper in his palm.
He raised his head with satisfaction, his eyes fell on the mirror, and he was stunned.
His eyes are blue. The blue in the depths of his pupils is exactly the same as the color that flashed yesterday.
He let go of his hand and the scraper fell on the sink, and the color instantly returned to brown.
Peter blinked, picked up the scraper and activated his ability again. His eyes turned blue again and did not fade away.
The eyes will only change color when using metal manipulation abilities.
Fortunately, it's not a big problem. At least it doesn't turn gray like some people do as soon as they use their abilities, which would be too eye-catching.
He closed the wooden house, returned the key to the landlord, and drove back to New York.
It was already eight o'clock in the evening when we got home. Aunt May, Uncle Ben and Richard were all waiting in the living room. The expressions of the three of them were as if they had just saved their lives from the battlefield. Peter recounted the story of "going to Germany with Susan to attend the meeting" again, and was finally driven back to the room to rest.
Of course he didn't sleep.
The door was locked, the uniform was put on, the window was opened, and the figure of Spider-Man jumped into the night sky.
Manhattan The night was calmer than he expected, but there were several police cars looking for people everywhere with their lights flashing. Peter was curious and followed the sound of sirens.
In a dark alley, two police officers, a man and a woman, were searching around with flashlights, shouting a name: Stephen.
Spider-Man hung upside down on the alley wall and cleared his throat.
Two beams of light hit his face.
"Hey, you two, can you move the light a little bit?"
The male policeman quickly put down the flashlight and said carefully, "Spider-Man... I'm sorry, we didn't--"
"It's okay." Peter waved his hand, "What are you looking for? It sounds quite urgent."
The male police officer sighed, "A child is missing. The last place he was seen is Hell's Kitchen."
"Any idea who did it?"
The policewoman said coldly, "I heard it is related to the Russia people. Who are they fighting against? People like you."
"What does 'like me' mean?"
The male policeman was busy trying to smooth things over: "She didn't mean anything else--"
"That's what I mean!" the policewoman said angrily, "He is a vigilante, and the law is nothing to him! He can do whatever he wants!"
"Then the next time an alien fleet invades," Spider-Man's voice was frighteningly calm, "You can protect the earth with the guns in your hands and impassioned speeches." He paused, "I will try my best to find the child. Good night, officers."
Silk bounced high into the sky, and the person disappeared between the buildings.
The male police officer looked at his partner and sighed, "He is not a bad person. You shouldn't vent your prejudices about superheroes on him."
The policewoman didn't answer, she just looked up at the empty night sky, suddenly feeling that she had gone too far.
Hell's Kitchen. Peter knows who to call every time he comes here. Matt·Murdock.
He wandered into Matt's apartment, but there was no one in the house. Why wasn't he here at this time? Wait a minute - the kidnapped child, Hell's Kitchen... Isn't this the plot of the first episode of "Daredevil"? In other words, everything has already begun.
Then he must be at Claire·Temple.
Peter called up SA and quickly found the address of Claire, which was just a few blocks away.
When he landed on the rooftop of that building, Matt was fighting with a man in black. Matt was covered in blood, wearing a dark hood and gloves, and was seriously injured. The moment the opponent raised the knife and swung it at Matt, a Silk stuck to the blade and violently tore it away.
The man in black turned around blankly, and Matt punched him hard on the chin, sending him flying.
Spider-Man landed next to him, threw away the knife, and looked at his outfit up and down. "I really can't say that this look is good-looking."
Matt smiled, "It's still in the running-in period."
"Okay." Peter turned to look at the woman who was poking her head behind the ventilation duct, "Hello, madam, we are two extremely professional superheroes. Please go back to the house and wait."
"She's with me." Matt picked up the unconscious thug.
"You know Spider-Man?!" Claire looked at Matt and then at Peter, his eyes almost falling out of his head.
Matt deadpanned. "It's a long story."
Peter shrugged. "I broke into his house and was beaten up by him."
Claire chose to give up questioning for the time being.
Matt pressed the thug on the edge of the roof, pounded it with his fists, and asked about the child's whereabouts. Claire wanted to ask Spider-Man to stop him several times, but Peter just stood aside quietly. "Either let him interrogate, or the child will die. It's your choice."
The thug finally couldn't bear it anymore and vomited out the location. Matt pushed him downstairs without hesitation. Peter flew down and narrowly caught the man with a Silk, and gently placed him next to the trash can. His heartbeat hadn't stopped yet.
Back on the rooftop, Peter stared at Matt: "Are you sick?!"
"He's not dead." Matt shrugged.
Claire looked in disbelief. "Has he always been this crazy?"
"To be honest, you know him better than I do." Peter exhaled helplessly, "Lead the way."
Matt turned around and climbed down the fire escape. "Follow closely."
Spider-Man followed closely, and the two figures jumped between the buildings. Peter couldn't help but laugh, "This is our first partner!"
The target is a dilapidated old building. Matt pointed to the third floor. "Can I go in directly?"
"No problem. Do you want to be quiet or make a big splash?"
"With great fanfare." Matt said, taking a Silk from Peter, "Let them remember tonight."
The two jumped up at the same time, smashed the window with the help of Silk, and landed in the middle of the card table with both feet.
The surrounding thugs were stunned for half a second, and all reached for their guns. Peter was as fast as a ghost, knocking down two of them with one punch, and kicked the third person in the crotch. Matt was one against three, and the fourth one came up from behind, and was knocked unconscious by Peter's hand raised with a wave of bioelectricity.
The two ran over each other, and each door was followed by a beating on the head. Peter rolled over Matt's head, and Matt tacitly ducked to avoid it; Matt grabbed the chair and threw it over, and Peter caught it and smashed it into pieces on the other unlucky guy's head. The cooperation was as if it had been practiced thousands of times.
The last door opened, and inside was a little boy trembling with fear. Peter stood aside, and Matt walked in and picked up the child.
The two walked out of the corridor, and behind them there were people lying everywhere. Peter looked back and said, "To be honest, this is not the worst game I have played this weekend."
Matt raised his eyebrows. "Is there anything more exaggerated?"
"Last night, Blade and I killed four vampires together and turned them into gray."
"...Vampire?"
"Vampire."
Matt was silent for a moment. "Cow."
