Ning Bei’s illusion tests the Shrek students before he travels to the Far North Land and becomes the Ice God’s successor. He returns to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, while Grandmaster begins combat training for the Shrek students.

• Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, Tang San, and Xiao Wu fought Canghui Academy students at a restaurant, then Zhao Wuji knocked their teacher Ye Zhiqiu unconscious.
• The Shrek group captured a Phoenix-tail Crested Serpent for Oscar, and Tang San defeated Meng Yiran in a match to settle who would claim it.
• After Oscar gained a flying sausage, Ning Bei used Xiao Die to trap the group in an illusion, staged his apparent death, and made Tang San experience decades as a powerful Tang Sect leader before the illusion ended.
• Tang San awoke with four yellow Soul Rings on each Martial Soul and rank 45 Soul Power, while Ning Bei retrieved the Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone and brought Qiu Er into the Pill Pagoda.
• Ning Bei traveled to the Far North Land with A Bao and Er Ming, where they fought the Ice Empress until the Snow Empress recognized Ning Bei as the Ice God’s chosen successor.
• The Snow Empress became Ning Bei’s second Martial Soul, awakening his Ice Sky Snow Woman Martial Soul and raising his Soul Power to rank 90, and Ning Bei began the Ice God Nine Trials with Qian Renxue.
• Ning Bei completed the Eternal Frozen Domain trial, gained greater Ice God Affinity and the ability to enter and leave Ice God Hall, then warned Qian Renxue about Xue Beng and the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud.
• Ning Bei showed his new Martial Soul and domain to Ning Fengzhi, Sword, and Bone, while Grandmaster began combat tests for the Shrek students and Tang San defeated Dai Mubai before Xiao Wu refused to fight him.

After leaving Shrek Academy, Ning Bei gathered allies, hunted powerful Soul Beasts, and strengthened the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect’s team for the Continent Elite Soul Master Competition. The arc ended with Ning Bei and Qian Renxue awakening a Martial Soul Fusion Skill as they prepared to face Spirit Hall.

• Ning Rongrong, Xiao Wu, and Zhu Zhuqing left Shrek Academy with Da Ming after Yu Xiaogang accused Xiao Wu of hiding a second Martial Soul and Flender tried to keep Zhu Zhuqing behind.
• Ning Bei helped Ning Fengzhi hunt a 100,000-year Coral Spirit Tortoise, and Ning Fengzhi absorbed its ring to become the Nine Treasures Douluo.
• Ning Bei awakened Nami’s Tidecaller Martial Soul, took her as his disciple, and later led the group in hunting a 300,000-year Holy Light Sea Urchin for his Ninth Spirit Ring.
• Ning Rongrong’s Martial Soul evolved into the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, while Ning Bei gave Immortal Herbs to A'Dai, Long Nianbing, and Ye Yinzhu and recruited Dugu Yan for the competition team.
• Ning Bei brought his students to Sunset Forest, where A'Dai absorbed a ten-thousand-year Soul Devouring Beetle ring, Zhu Zhuqing gained a Right Hand External Soul Bone, and Ning Rongrong and Ye Yinzhu each obtained new rings and skills.
• Shi Nian trapped the group in an illusion and demanded Zhu Zhuqing’s Soul Bone, but Ning Bei broke the illusion and defeated him, taking his Head Soul Bone.
• Ning Bei met Qian Renxue at the Crown Prince Residence, advised her to watch Xue Beng, and gave her the Lovesick Heartbreak Red, which approved her after she offered it her heart’s blood.
• Ning Bei and Qian Renxue joined their Ice Sky Snow Woman and Six-Winged Angel Spirits in Ice God Hall, awakening a Martial Soul Fusion Skill with an Aurora Domain and Aurora Holy Sword.

Ning Bei raised his companions, pursued the Ice God trials, and prepared for the Soul Master Competition as Shrek Academy became his rivals. The arc ended with Zhu Zhuqing and Ning Rongrong leading Team Seven to a decisive victory over Shrek.

• Flender accepted Qin Ming’s proposal to enter the competition under Heaven Dou Royal Academy, but Qian Renxue blocked Shrek from taking the Second Team’s slot.
• Ning Bei accepted the Ice Empress’s sacrifice, gained a blood-red Soul Ring and Spirit Bone, and received the Ice God’s trial to cultivate a new king for the Far North Land.
• Ning Bei traveled to the Far North, named Little Snowflake and Little Hailstone, and helped Lei Yuanyuan become a transformed infant who could consume Pill Lightning.
• Ning Bei helped Zhu Zhuqing gain a ten-thousand-year fourth Spirit Ring and later helped her reach rank 50, while Nami gained new Spirit Rings and skills.
• Ning Bei completed the Ice God Third Trial, then defeated Chen Xin and Gu Rong to earn two victories in his new trial to defeat six Titled Douluo.
• Ning Bei challenged his young companions to move him from a circle, froze them with Ice Age, and rewarded A'Dai with a fifty-thousand-year Shadow Mink Left Leg Bone for escaping first.
• At the competition opening, Zhu Zhuqing rejected Dai Mubai and led Team Seven against Shrek, while Ning Rongrong and Zhu Zhuqing shocked Tang San with their high-level Spirit Rings.
• Zhu Zhuqing, Ning Rongrong, and Long Nianbing eliminated Shrek’s fighters, and the host declared Heaven Dou Royal Academy Team Seven the winner.

Ning Bei completed his Ice God trial, strengthened his bonds with Qian Renxue, Bibi Dong, and Xiao Wu, and helped his companions through the Promotion Tournament. The stretch ended with Tang San’s victory over Huo Wu and Ning Bei confronting Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun over Zhu Zhuqing.

• Ning Bei protected his companions from Salas and Shrek Academy’s attempt to obtain the secret of enduring powerful Soul Rings, then helped Royal Fight Second Team defeat Skywater Academy.
• Ning Bei and Qian Renxue visited Qian Daoliu and the Worship Hall, where they joined forces as the Aurora Angel and defeated six consecrators to complete Ning Bei’s Fourth Trial.
• Ning Bei’s sixth spirit ring raised his Soul Power to level 98, and he gave Dugu Yan a God-given Spirit Ring before confronting Bibi Dong and Yu Xiaogang at Spirit Hall.
• Ning Bei helped Xiao Wu reunite with her mother Ah Rou’s phantom, then the Promotion Tournament began with Xiao Wu defeating an entire opposing team by herself.
• Xiao Wu continued winning matches while Tang San fought Huo Wu, escaped her flames, and defeated her with his techniques before forfeiting against Huo Wushuang.
• Ning Bei froze Dai Weisi’s guards when Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun confronted Zhu Zhuqing, then threatened Dai Weisi until he fell silent.
