Ning Bei passed the Ice God’s willpower trial, returned to a world devastated by Tang San, and helped his companions advance their trials. The stretch ended with Ning Bei and Zhu Zhuqing confronting the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger in the Star Dou Great Forest.

• Ning Bei learned that Tang San had killed Sword and Bone and that Spirit Hall and Sea God Island had fallen silent, then received the Ice God’s Ninth Trial to defeat the Asura God.
• Ning Bei and Bibi Dong sacrificed themselves in an explosion that destroyed Spirit City and the invading Tang Sect and Star Luo forces.
• Ning Bei endured an illusion in which Tang San destroyed the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and killed many of his loved ones before he passed the willpower trial and began a two-year soul-bone transformation.
• After returning from seclusion, Ning Bei learned of Tang San’s brutal campaign among former Star Luo territories and told Bibi Dong that Tang San was living as a bandit.
• Ning Bei visited Qian Renxue in her Angel God trial cocoon, then traveled to Sea God Island as his companions fought the Evil Orca King and passed their assessment.
• Nami absorbed the Evil Orca King’s Spirit Ring, while Ning Bei gave Dugu Yan and Ning Rongrong powerful soul bones from the Ice God Set.
• Ning Bei took Zhu Zhuqing to the Star Dou Great Forest to hunt a Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, then trapped it in an Ice Fortress and nearly cut it in two with Emperor Sword · Ice Machine Peerless.

Ning Bei brought Gu Yue into his plans to oppose Tang San, while Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun helped him seize control of the former Star Luo territories. Dai Mubai was killed, Tang San retreated to Kville, and Ning Bei backed Dai Weisi as he rebuilt the Dai Family under Xue Qinghe.

• Ning Bei brought the Silver Dragon King, whom he called A Yue, to his sect and introduced her to Qiu Er and Ah Yin.
• Ning Bei and Gu Yue sent their Soul Beast companions to oppose Tang San’s Tang Sect, while Da Ming founded the Evil Extermination Sect in Star Luo City.
• Tang San and Dai Mubai joined forces to conquer Kville and Nili, poisoning Kville’s royal family and later arranging the assassination of Nili’s royal family and generals.
• Ning Bei recruited Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun to help take control from Dai Mubai, and Xiao Die used illusions to secure the Zhu Family’s support for the campaign.
• Dai Mubai and the Zhu Family occupied Nili, then divided its territory, while Dai Weisi and Zhu Zhuyun prepared to overthrow him.
• Dai Weisi defeated Dai Mubai’s Soul Saint guards, and Zhu Zhuyun killed Dai Mubai after he fled their confrontation.
• The Zhu Family attacked Tang Sect forces, forcing Tang San to withdraw to Kville, while Ning Bei sent Da Ming to limit the Tang Sect’s expansion.
• Dai Weisi rebuilt the Dai Family, submitted to Xue Qinghe, and became Earl White Tiger, while Tang San began gathering wandering Soul Masters for his God Trial.

Tang San rebuilt the Tang Sect around Slaughter Town, recruiting Ma Hongjun and absorbing the local forces while the Evil Extermination Sect weakened Tang Sect’s reach in Star Luo and Heaven Dou. After conquering Slaughter Town and establishing a foothold in Salikol Duchy, Tang San began turning the sect into an assassination organization and took a contract on Snow Sword.

• A Zhu killed Tang Sect attackers who had targeted a merchant caravan, and the merchants returned to Star Luo City to hire the Evil Extermination Sect for protection.
• Ning Bei expanded the Evil Extermination Sect into Heaven Dou while Tang San traveled there and reunited with Tang Yuehua, Yu Xiaogang, and his former Shrek companions.
• Tang San recruited Ma Hongjun and Oscar for the Tang Sect, but Oscar discovered Tang San’s secret and was poisoned before Ning Bei saved him and welcomed him into the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect.
• Tang San and Ma Hongjun reached Slaughter Town, where Tang San recruited Worton and built the Tang Sect into a powerful force by absorbing fallen enemies and their strength.
• Tang San and Ma Hongjun defeated Niu Lei and the Anti-Tang Alliance, then took control of Slaughter Town and strengthened the surviving Tang Sect members.
• Tang San sent Worton to seize Salikol Duchy and established it as a transit station while planning a mission guild that would take assassination contracts.
• Tang San approached Patriarch Aos and Patriarch Liu, demonstrated his ability to poison and restore them, and negotiated a contract to assassinate Snow Sword.

Tang San expanded the Tang Sect while Ning Bei and Qian Renxue dismantled it, using Ma Hongjun and the Evil Extermination Sect to strike at its power in Saliker. The Tang Sect’s branches and headquarters fell, and Tang San confronted Ma Hongjun after discovering the devastation.

• Tang San collected payment from the Liu and Aos families, then agreed to assassinate Hong Luan and Hong family elders so the families could seize their businesses.
• Tang San expanded the Tang Sect while Ning Bei established the Evil Extermination Sect, and Qian Renxue reunited with Ning Bei before joining his campaign against Tang San’s disciples.
• Qian Renxue and Ning Bei rescued Xun Guang from Magic Eagle, killed Tang Sect assassins, and destroyed the sect’s Shu Zhong Wine Houses.
• Xiao Die’s illusion led Tang San to absorb a Lightning Roaring Hell Vine spirit ring and three Thousand Jin Ant rings, but the deception left his spirit rings weakened and his cultivation reduced.
• Ning Bei recruited Ma Hongjun to help destroy the Tang Sect, gave him the Cockscomb Phoenix Sunflower, and removed the toxin Tang San had hidden in his meridians.
• Ma Hongjun betrayed the Tang Sect and opened Saliker City’s gates for the Evil Extermination Sect, while Qian Renxue killed Tang Sect disciples and destroyed their headquarters building.
• Tang San returned to find the Tang Sect’s base in ruins, followed Ma Hongjun to a restaurant, and prepared to trigger the Plague Poison in his body as Ma Hongjun confronted him about Oscar and the hidden poison.
