Ning Bei helped contain the Plague Poison outbreaks and returned to Sea God Island as his companions completed their trials. He later traveled with Zhu Zhuqing to the Zhu Family, where he revealed his strength and confronted its elders, leaving Zhu Zhuqing to challenge her father over her past.

• Tang San fought Ma Hongjun, then fled toward Slaughter City as A Zhu pursued him, while Qian Renxue and the Evil Extermination Sect destroyed the Tang Sect headquarters.
• Ning Bei stopped A Zhu from following Tang San and discovered that Tang San's planted toxins were causing Plague Poison outbreaks among civilians.
• Ning Bei and Ah Yin coordinated remedies across the region, and Ning Bei told the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect that he planned to create a godhood through faith.

Ning Bei inherited the Ice God’s throne without sacrificing his loved ones, then helped his companions pursue their own divine trials and revived Ah Rou. Two years later, Qian Renxue returned as the Angel God while Tang San defeated Tang Chen’s corrupted legacy and advanced his Shura trials.

• Zhu Zhuqing left the Zhu Family with Ning Bei, recovered her mother’s keepsakes, and received Hermod’s inheritance after Ning Bei refined a Nine Revolutions Golden Pill.
• Ning Bei shaped a God Ring for his Pill Pagoda and inherited the Ice God’s throne after refusing to kill his loved ones as the final trial demanded.
• Ning Bei revived Ah Rou with Da Ming’s blood essence, and she awakened her Soft Bone Rabbit Martial Soul with Innate Full Soul Power.
• Ning Bei helped Qian Renxue enter the Angel God’s final trial, while Ning Rongrong and other companions received divine trials of their own.
• Two years later, Qian Renxue emerged from the Golden Gate as the Angel God, reconciled with Qian Daoliu, and reunited with Ning Bei.
• Tang San defeated the Slaughter King, learned that he was Tang Chen’s great-grandson, and heard how another god’s remnant will had corrupted Tang Chen.

Ning Bei helped his companions inherit god positions while Tang San completed the Asura trials and returned from the dead as the Asura God. Tang San’s assault on the gods culminated in Ning Bei and Qian Renxue combining their power to face his Great Asura Slash.

• Ning Bei investigated Moon God Island and helped Xiao Wu become the Moon God’s inheritor, while Nami completed her trials and became the Sea God.
• Ning Bei, Qian Renxue, A'Dai, Nami, and Ah Yin hunted Tang San after he massacred Saliker Duchy and attacked Nili Province.
• A'Dai killed Tang San before he could complete the Asura Ninth Trial, and Ning Bei’s group destroyed his remains.
• Over the next three years, several of Ning Bei’s companions inherited god positions, while Tang San returned through the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent and became the Asura God.
• Tang San sent clones across the continent and fought Nami, Xiao Wu, and their allies before Ning Bei’s group cornered him by the shore.
• Tang San’s Guanyin Tear struck Ning Bei and Qian Renxue, but Ning Bei recovered, and Asura God revived Tang San after the group’s combined assault seemingly killed him.
